Just what I need!. Reading comments and I dont think people understand the overall use. Its not meant for long road trips, high speeds etc. Its meant for going for one spot to another. Not flying at 80mph while doing it. You can also use it as a temporary rod holder so your "$1200" setup doesn't smack into the ground, meet a car door and meet the trunk door. Product for $24....$34 on Amazon with shipping. You'd be crazy not to buy one.

I always find it amusing when people who don't understand why these things are used. They aren't designed for highway cruising. Instead they are used for spot hopping. The only thing I would warn people before they order such things is to make sure your hood is magnetic. More and More vehicles are using aluminum or fiberglass or other composites in place of steel sheet metal.

this looks like the biggest pile of garbage ive seen in a while who would trust an expensive set up in it when driving anywhere other that 3mph in a carpark lol and why on earth would you want a rod holder on the side of your car lol 😂 would love to see how this handles a country track or even a country road here in scotland
