Thanks for the review. Don’t want to pay the big dollars for the other carriers but this is in my price range. They said in an intro video they were going to have some kind of Velcro piece to put the suction cup on and attach to the roof if you had that carpet type roof. I guess it didn’t work because it isn’t on the site. So thanks for the alternative to that. I use bamboo rods and they are very short..6’0 and 6’3’. I live in the Georgia mountains so small streams are what I fish and think that I may have to make some support like you did..

I’m curious … why are the suction cups a problem? Why not leave them on more or less permanently?
