It's a shame about our draconian driving laws, but it's certainly a lot of fun to the speed limit 😜

Hello Matt! Really loving your videos here. I have a question about the gearbox on the G80 M3. I drove and loved the F83 M4 and the dual clutch on the upshift was so violent and dramatic when you gave it a lot of sauce like BAM a horse kicked you in the back and you just launched into another dimension. I've also driven more pedestrian BMWs with the ZF 8 speed and the gear change is buttery smooth. So is the M steptronic(ZF8) on the G80 M3 more smooth or more violent? Thanks!

How do you do a 0-100 test on the Nepean Highway when it's a 80km restricted road? Always love your reviews, but I think you should be driving in a variety of locations.

The M3 and M4 remind me of that song, Nice Legs Shame About The Face. Amazing looking cars except for the grill. No doubt they are great to drive.

M340i is totally wild, so still an amazing choice!

Love the grill, love the huge exhaust, love the side skirts, love the rear diffuser, love the carbon seats, love the carbon everywhere, love the s58 engine with ZF8 and 503ps650nm.........laser light.......red M1 and M2 button. Don’t like the arm rest at rear, don’t like the big gaps between tyres and fender. Don’t like the non-carbon strut braces in the engine bay, don’t like the exhaust sound(with c63s)

@@CarSauce I would go for the black sapphire with the same wheels set in your video but in gross black. The blue in your video is good as well. But definitely not the whatever green or whoever yellow. Nice video BTW!!!

M3 definitely looks better. The grille is heinously ugly but I’ll almost always take a sedan over a coupe. They both look absolutely fantastic, though, apart from that grille.
I have a love hate relationship with the grille! I love it's different, but it's also A LOT... Still though, in person it looks mean as 😁
Yeah man those dumb ass design engineers at BMW have no idea what they’re doing. It doesn’t really matter that sales are through the roof for these things they obviously have no idea how to design a car. I’m thinking that if you and I would court them for a job we could straighten all this mess out. Don’t you think? I mean obviously you could do a better job of designing BMWs than them. What the frig do they know?
I loved this review so much I went out and bought a new M3. Disappointingly I have owned the car for a year and a half now and my car has been at a BMW dealership awaiting a faulty part from Germany for two months. the sad part is that it is not a major part. I have written to BMW Australia and they are unresponsive as to when the part will arrive in Australia and my car repaired. Very poor customer service from what I thought was a trusted brand. They hide behind a call center located in the Philippines which are trained just to fob you off. disgraceful at best. As it stands I am paying very expensive finance and insurance for a car I cant even drive and have no idea when I will get it back.

That abruptly rear arch ending suddenly into the door loses it for me.
Idk, I like that feature a lot. Look at the E30 M3, the rear arches do pretty much the same thing on that car. Really accentuates the wide hips of this car.

How can a completely new design be iconic for the m3, but the 911 be cookie cutter🤔 dont get wrong i like the m3 and do hope to drive one in the xdrive model and i do like the design.
I think the 911 design is beautiful, but it's an evolution. This could only be described as a revolution haha!

bmw have never been a cookie cutter and been like a 911. The design has grown and changed over time. hey shoujld have designed it like a baby m8 imo

The inside of this car is boring as hell. The dash is empty. The old hand me down Mercedes nav screen. Awful.
I certainly wouldn't describe it as boring myself! But I would say it has utility and doesn't replace buttons for unnecessary screens!
@@CarSauce yeah I’m sorry not for close to 100k. The seats might be nice. But that screen is old and should have already been expired. The dash is awful to me. Give me the dash of the Mercedes amg gt 63s. That to me is what they should’ve done and then they killed off DSG that was a mistake. Just makes me sad.
