Just brought one of these off the back of your review, so glad i did it looks and feels like holding the real thing. It's like a tank, i would say any one living in the Uk this would be the nearest thing you can own to a real gun there is no plastic on it full metal, as said in your review lovely grips, no rattle when together like some guns with the cheap plastic grips. It's not cheap in the uk cost me £180 but worth every penny, it's worth £100 to just to hold and load the shells. I own a crosman 357 very accurate, this is on par with that at 20ft. So glad they changed the way you load the pellets into the shells just push in instead of messing about screwing the end off and placing the pellets in that way. I don't mind loading after 6 shots every time, it's part of the enjoyment of this gun, the old shells put me off buying that model. Thanks for a great review, if anyone is in 2 minds about this gun don't it's the dogs.
update the gun as gone back to the shop yesterday the trigger or hammer broke only after 3 weeks, so not the tank i first thought. i got a full refund as it was under 30 days from the date i brought it, the woman offered me a replacement but got the refund instead and put it towards my new baby the WEIHRAUCH HW45
@@MsKch1 oh dear. Ive heard theres a weakness in the hammer spring. Sad...the gun looks so cooool. I own the crosman vigilante which replaced the 357 and its still going strong. Sorry to hear yours broke...why didnt you risk another? Do you dislike the gun now?
Is it loud to disturb neighbors for them to report shootings?
Great review, if I could add a couple of issues, the "rifled barrel" is only the first 2 inches from the cylinder, and as one commenter said don't use steel bbs there are lots of lead and copper coated lead (H&N) and Gamo the finish is blued. Having had many real pistols the bluing is very realistic. Great gun one of the best revolvers I have come across. All the best , Keith...
There's no need to twist the speed loader when you load it, just push straight in by the body
Hi. Thanks for the video. I own this replica, and my shells are loaded by the front. I was told in the shop, I could use steel BBs. Mine is in 4,5mms too. So far, I did never dare to shoot those steel ones. On the other hand, I only used the plastic ones. Mine does not have rifled barrel. Unfortunately even those with rifled barrels, does not have all the barrel rifled😮!! Only part of it is in fact rifled, not all, as I expect😢😢. Mine is chromed. But in steel grey, is also very beautiful.
Steel bb's in a rifled barrel, NO , not if you want the rifleing to last .😁👍
This ain’t a rifle dumbass
The little hole in the top is for hop up adjustment on the 6mm version, not the rail which is bottom mounted up and over style.
Not good to shoot BBs out of a rifled barrel, even though this is a pellet gun.
Mine's in the mail.. Can't wait.
I've bought this gun off of ur recommendation, its not arrived yet but I'm looking forward to it I've also bought the sig mcx after watching ur videos really looking forward to that one
i loved this guns but i dont like this one..i have several wessons but this gun if you buy the one with serial number starting with 17.just shine a light in the barrel than you see the riffled part is verry short .the ones with starting numbers 15 ore 16 have a full riffled barrel.iam hobby shooting fore more than 30 years but this gun changed the dan wesson story fore me.the full rifled barrel too top of nose of the gun shoots much better bulseye almost every shot...the ones with serial starting 17 not anny sugestion too try a nother pellet??i had tryt several brands ..thanks .sorry fore the poor writing iam from the netherlands
today last test with some pellets otherwise the 715 pellet gun has too leave my house.but my point the one with starting serial number 17 ...with the promised full riflled barrel what its not ...thanks asg ..not ..but today tryt the gamo lead round training and the ram match precision both 8,15 grain 0,53 gr bulls eye again and again ..me litlle more happy now..i dont like the steel bbs in a riffled barrel but the lead one.s are nice too more fun too shoot
Love this gun. Im new to this, whats the deal with the speed loader, does it make a difference? It looks to me like it takes just as much time to load that than it does to put each in the gun manually
Rifled barrel length is only 2.5 inches long in spite of toted mfg,s specs as 6 inch inner barrel. Check out inner barrel before you purchase! I Won't. Thanks for video!
What's the purpose of a speedloader if it takes the same amount of time loading the speedloader by hand, one cartridge at a time anyway? Unless you have more than one speedloader already loaded, ready to insert into the airgun's barrel. But you only get one speedloader included with this airgun. Defeats the purpose of a speedloader, because you'll actually waste time filling it, and then take additional time inserting the cartridges into the airgun.
I heard the rifling is only 2.5 inches in length and the rest is smooth bore on a 6 inch revolver , any truth to this mate? Thanks
Unfortunately, yea it is true. The manufacturers decided to cheap out.
@@pessimisticnihilist3691 I got one and couldn’t hit a thing , till I put a red dot 🔴 on it shoots nice 👍🏻 now mate
@@PeterAgostiniJdcap26 That's good, I was concerned about its accuracy but if it can shoot straight, I might have to reconsider my caution.
Get spare hammer springs for it! They break every couple of thousand rounds. It’s because it’s a tiny spring that has a tough job.
hi rackanload.
I wonder if your Dan Wesson has any damage to the drum were the drumstoper hits it from the triger stop when the drum turns around to chamber the next round I have noticed a bit of Danger the metal of the drum is getting like an edge. .. and this only after about 4 co2 cartridges worth of pellets. I just want to know if it's just mine or its a common thing. Thanks and nice review.
Nice Review 😊 thumbs up
Great video....Yours are the best.
+Fence Walker Cheers buddy! ATB, Rack
+RACKNLOAD hey there man!!! I don't think it's really meant to take BB's, but somehow you can shoot BB's. How accurate from 1 to 10 would you say this gun is with the BB's?
Get spare hammer springs for it! They break every couple of thousand rounds
Lean Mean Revolving Machine
VERY VERY NICE REVIEW , HAVE THE SAME AND IT IS GREAT!!!!
Beautiful pellet gun! I'd own one if it were there best I could get
Nice review. Is this better than the crosman vigilante?
I've not reviewed a Vigilante...
@@racknload ok. If you do id be interested
@@davidchen7323 Thats really interesting. Ive heard of this before with other pistols. Yes the vigilante is very accurate..a very good gun, but I liked the look of the dan wesson.
Please let me know how accurate your new dan wesson is compared to the vigilante. Thanks, steve
What's the advantage of a speed loader that you have to, uh, load, over just loading the gun directly?
I think the idea is to buy more cartridges, I saw them on sale in a 25 pack. Don't ask me the logic behind a 25 pack for a 6 shot gun. :)
Good
Very cool!
your pronounciation and voice sound like Jude Law from Sherlock holmes movie
+Hyeok June Shin I'll take that as a compliment lol!
Greg Davies is that you?
Can you switch the grips for wooden 715 grips?
It'd be really difficult since they're specially made to fit the co2 inside and have to clip into place. Talking from experience with my Umarex P08
Your are destroying your riffled barrel. Don't load bbs in the pellet version gun!
Thanks for the review. I just which they'd sell the pellet version in chrome or black. I have not bought this gun simply because I do not like the gloss finish.
i have this gun. you can remove the gray finish but this will be a project. i noticed the pellet info on the right side killed the realism but its not engraved. i removed the bb pellet info easily on my cz p07 with nail polish remover. but this finish is a stain. brasso and a brillo pad will remove the gray and a white chrome will be left however this will tale a long time. then you must repolish it once you get down to white chrome tho remove the scratches
then you'd have the OnLY chrome pellet firing one...next to mine lol. i plan to get mine power modded to increase the power along with pba ammo. also i hate the accesory rail but i will check to see out i can screw a better looking rail
sorry not screw i meant that would slide into the existing rail slats
HI, A FINE REVIEW, THINK I PREFR THIS TO S&W 586/685
You should never slam the cylinder home like that.Even real steel revolvers can be damaged doing that.
Ok right handed with right shut
The colour is called “gun metal” 😅
Can you shoot those little feathered darts out of this?
Is it really pellet and bb since it have a rifled barrel? I' ve heard that steel bbs can damage this rifeling.
They do.
How powerful is this gun (fps, pellet weight)?
400 fps
Don't like the Dan wesson it's a bit boring to load the 6 shell all the time. And it a bit sticky on the trigger and hammer. And the power Is a bit low. But a big emprovment on the old Dan wesson. Cordy 1.77
Whats better
The bb version or the pellet version?
Personal preference
Does the ejector rod work?
It does buddy...
Pistolas de juguete de 2 julios.
What barrel lengths does this come in?
Can I have this
steel BB's in barrel made for pellet 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤪🤪
im thinking of buying one but the ones in the shop i use say there is
a bb version and a .177 pellet version i dont know how you have one that fires both
He is shooting bbs in a riffled barrel, so he is destroying the barrel. This version ONLY shoot pellets. You can shoot bbs, but you are breaking the barrel.
@@Rodrhiguez you'd have to shoot a lot of BBs to destroy the rifling, calm down.
