Dya know what mate, I've seen a good few reviews on here of these 2 "pistols and this is by far the best mate! You have covered all of the pros and cons of them, I have the gold steel bb version and it's not a patch on the 2.5 inch 357 tactical one, build ain't as good as it's successor and hammer and locking device are worse! 👍 👌

About bloody time !!! lol, you finally got round to having a decent revolver, lol. Yeah, the real steel version comes in a 'pistol pack' that would include a 2",4", 6" & 8" barrel set and normally a belt buckle and DW patch too.
Nice Cypress hill quote thrown in there, that made me laugh, I couldn't help myself by following it with "Ever heard a Glock go click like a camera", lol. So you've earnt kudos by reviewing my favourite modern revolver and then you went and doubled down by quoting a line from one of my favourite Cypress Hill tunes, you're definitely turning into my favourite youtube replica reviewer, lol.
On the subject of the cylinders, as you noticed they both rotate in different directions. The DW715 rotates clockwise just like the real steel version does (and Colt), whereas the Umarex Legends rotates anti clockwise just like a S&W does, in fact the cylinder catch is identical to a S&W cylinder catch too, all evidence points to it being a replica of a S&W revolver rather than any other make. For many years there has been heated disagreements about which is better, rotating into the frame like DW & Colt seems safer at keeping the cylinder pushed into the frame rather than rotating out of the frame (like S&W) which is essentially trying to push the cylinder out of the frame. In truth though, S&W use a more secure locking pin system that negates that ever happening UNLESS the cylinder hasn't been closed properly, so IMHO it doesn't make one better than the other in truth and real world use.
Thanks for the shout out for the forum buddy, very much appreciated.
Another great video buddy, if you're looking for suggestions for other videos then I've got a couple for you ; The Nagant 7 shot revolver (don't knock it till you've tried it, lol), Swiss Arms P-92/KWC PT-92 (a Taurus PT-92 replica), Webley mkVI, Schofield, Umarex Desert Eagle (if you can get hold of one), KWC Uzi/Swiss Arms Protector (again, if you can get hold of one) and there's still a few more that I can think of, lol....keep 'em coming buddy.

Those lines you pointed out aren't 2 pieces welded together it's casting marks, those are largely made of cheap cast pot metal which is very weak, I hope the new Dan Wesson's are machined in those parts rather than cast with weak alloy but I assume they have simply taken more time to polish away the casting/moulding lines

No problem mate, great review on the gun and nice comparison to what's arguably it's rival in the market, I'm waiting on delivery of a 4inch 715 right now and can't wait to put it to the test, I only chose it over a colt saa or webley mk vi because of the adjustable sights, though I already know I'll be ordering the webley mkvi next as they have a 4 inch barreled version in .22 called the police available for pre order which I know I can't refuse lol

@@airgunreplicas77 Nice 1 pal. My mate has just bought the 2.5" 715 and it is absolutely stunning, I don't usually like Dan Wesson pistols but that 1 I need in my collection. I actually prefer the shorter snub nose over the 4" and the 6" just something about it. Don't kno why they put the picatinny on the 4, it would look stupid with a laser or light on such a gorgeous revolver.

You can get a .357 magnum revolver in the UK buddy, you get a free coat hanger and a barrel as long as a rifle, they're called a LBR (long barrelled revolver). There's plenty on you tube on them, check out Racknload's (ua-cam.com/video/epQAnOrMaBE/v-deo.html) video review of the .357 Chiappa Rhino.

    I have one.
    It looks and feels great.
    Very realistic,but heres the rub..
Ive got 15 co2 replicas,if you want these for film props ect they are great.
If you want a replica co2 that shoots accurate as a purpose built air pistol, you'll be sadly disappointed.
The size and weight of the thing doesn't do anything to help accuracy, they look great..they are fun plinkers ..but expensive for what you get.
    Great replicas,poor target guns.
If you want a bb probably the most powerful bb gun available in the uk and your not bothered about it being a replica, get a daisy 415 pistol, shoots 500fps and ut costs £45.
They are all pretty disappointing expensive replicas.
Sure this one aint bad on accuracy, and you can get some nice groups at 6 yards.
