Steven Spielberg On "Cosmic Watergate" And UFOs (1977)

A few months before the release of Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, director Steven Spielberg talks UFOs, and why he thought US President Jimmy Carter was about to unveil something big.
Spielberg was promoting a very expensive film on the subject at the time, so it was obviously in his interests to stoke "Cosmic Watergate" conspiracies. Smirking about 'Disclosure by Christmas seems a bit of a giveaway.
