It's real guys like you that make jobs like this easier! I sent this to my buddy who thought he would need help doing it and it inspired him to tackle it on his own and did it in record time. Thank you from both of us here in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I liked your video very much; however I do have a comment... That drive shaft is balanced from the factory, so If you take it apart like you did on the video, make sure you mark the section you took off and the other section with the splines with a marker like you used on the guibo, to make sure you lined them up exactly, less it could be out of balance and you will get the same problem you were trying to fix, or worse. You may be still good and aligned if your back tires didn't roll and moved your final drive/ differential. Just my 2 cents... But still, nice video...

Good day,,, I have a 2007 one,,, I am in the process of doing the same,,changing the support,,,but i m running with the same problem of getting the old support out,,, mine does not have the snap ring but so difficult to take it out,,,i do not have a puller,,,tried to put it in a vice and bang on the shaft with no results,,, I ve seen videos that the guy just replaced the shaft,,,that an expensive fix. I wonder why you cut the part you actually retrieved the old bearing with your puller,,,would ha liked to see how it came out. Just hope its like you say,,,that the new one goes on easy,,,you have cut that part also !!!
Thank you for the video,,,now i know i m not the only one have trouble taking the old part out !

Sorry recording and doing the job at the same time was a little difficult. The puller works wonders. It took a few times. You have to make sure the grip of the puller it on strong, and it will pop right out. Heat up the metal too if you have a torch.

@@gtflips Ya,,, I understand,,,not easy doing the job and recording,,, In my case,,, the rubber from the support was already broken,,,I only had the bearing (with the rubber coating) left on the shaft. but since i dont have a puller,,,I ended up cutting with a grinder with a disk for cutting stainless steel,,, had to be careful not to touch the shaft,,,at the end,,,only the ring from the bearing was left on the shaft,,,had to cut it both ways and break it with a screwdriver,,,but finally took it out ! and you were right,,, installing the new one goes on easy enough .... take care .

Should have replaced that Guibo,..not very expensive and you can't tell if it's bad unless you take it off and pry it with a screwdriver,..if that bearing failed like that I would bet you the car that that part is compromised,..live and learn I guess HAHA!!
