@@theluftwaffle1 my friend we have the tech and the capabilities to remove over 90% of the plastic in our environment right now. The question is are we willing to do it and to make our governments follow through with there job and promises.
Both lovely and wholesome stories. Quite interesting to see the ones where we inspire gratitude, instead of just the usual "don't poke the sleeping bear".
or just where the bear come rampaging to maul the things that devours the forest ,but makes an effort to shield the wounded wolfs and deers that made an unexpected joint last stand and in the last glade as they say... teach...by inspiration of example but ye , both stories very wholesome ....and specially liked the one that sounded like an derelict dreadnought found new motivation to rouse itself from slumber and make a joint cause with a scared young thing that run into its depths as its parent bought it a head start with its own life
I love that ghost ship concept. There is no need for lights or glass in the windows if there are no crew. There is no need for armor to be shining and clean so long as it covers the panels and mechanisms below and keeps the micrometeorites out. An eerie ship, sailing the void on it's own, carrying out it's own mission with no crew or master. Or, in this case a crew of one android, but details.
Just now I had a spark in my head "Hey remember Agro Squirrel?" And I immediately had to search you up again, glad to say that I'm happy how much this channel has grown since the last time I checked. It's also the first time seeing your face.
Greetings, Mentlegent! For the Rhyhtm that is Algo Story 1: I was sure humans died in this timeline. Glad we didn't. Story 2: Sometimes those we take care of return the favor.
I hope that we as a species will learn to not hate each other and talk out problems so when we meet another life form we be able to cohabitate with them.. I also hope that our technologies are greater than others so we can spank the bad ones...
Both stories are about Human Remnants; one biocultural, one heavily armed technological. Pinnocio zeitgeist Sci Fi are always a win. They continue to tug on heart strings.
I"ve been listening to your stories now for a bit (just found your channel). I had to think of what you reminded me of when you say "End of Story". You remind me of the computer assistant from "The Starlost". That's what you sound like. Very Very good. Thank you.
Story 1: Like children wanting to find their parents. To thank them, and hope humanity is proud of them. Going to the Milky Way to find them. Story 2: The creator was the parent, the created the child. The creator gave his/her life to save their creation. Now the child protects the species that gave it life. A full cycle of life, love and protection.
I want to comment on something, but I'm actually crying. Honestly: Shit pours down, but Good comes around. One act of kindness can change everything. For you it might be either a sacrifice or something mundane, but to the one receiving the kindnes, it could mean the world.
The old version of the game Master of Orion had a Human race, whose specialty was trade and diplomacy. The new version has Humans like before, but also has Terrans, who are one of the most agressively sneaky species in the game.
first story could be a joyous ending or a fatal depending on what future humanity went with, it almost sounds like they were visited by dark age of technology humans. and if there's gone thousands of years, then they may be met by the Imperium instead of their savours. second story, All venerate the Machine Spirit!
I do like the newer style of production you have going. The uniform is nice, but we need to get you a nice A.S.N insignia to make it perfect! Maybe even spoof the NASA logo, lol
the first story reminds me a of a short sci fi story from the perspective of earth species long ago uplifted by humans the story is from the perspective of one of the older people of i think a race of uplifted dogs telling kids about what humans where like, if anyone could help me find the name of this story id really apreceate the help.
He recently had throat surgery. So these shorter stories are giving him the practice he needs to work on his voice while he recovers. He does plan to from comments I remember him making earlier.
I feel like just suddenly encasing a star in a Dyson sphere like that would cause more harm than anything. Like, hopefully that species didn't need their planets ecosystem anymore.
I hope humanity has the kinda future depicted in the many stories I’ve listened to you narrate.
One where we explore the universe. And offer friendship to all. But betray us and we hit ya with the sledge hammer we’ve been holding.
Amen
Born too late to explore the world, born too early to explore the stars. Born just right to suffer from microplastic poisoning.

Story 1: Humanity as a benevolent sleeping giant. Always a classic!
Story 2: Humanity's love and pack bonding gives back at our time of need

Glad you are enjoying
Talk about luck -- that reporter not only got his lifelong wish of an interview but gets to go to another galaxy to meet the humans.
That's a scoop alright.
Story 1: Interesting. Humans came to save the day, then just left.
Story 2: Wonderful.
