    As my hair has grown longer - bra strap length in the back - I've had to adjust my 'pineappling' technique for preserving my waves overnight.

    After three minutes pineappled, I had to take it down. My scalp was screaming. My waves are shot for today anyway between Shea butter in my leave in (I was trying to see if my hair likes protein. The answer is yes, but no Shea) and wind at pickup and the bun I stuck it in. I will have to figure something else out. Love to see you on insta with your awesome shorter hair.

    I love this technique! Which size Scunci jaw clips do you use? They make a few different sizes. It would be helpful to have a link or the exact product name.

    I know this is old, but I've got to ask, what is your opinion and/or experience with braiding at night? I've just started CG, and I've put my hair in a pineapple, but the weight and pull is too much that it sometimes gives me headaches 😞

      A braid?

    • @halien6384
      @halien6384 3 роки тому +2

      i agree, you could do a braid. i like to do french braids before bed, which also helps to define my waves which is nice. You could also try to just put it in a loose bun, or even putting it in a scarf or turban before you sleep. id also recommend a silk pillowcase to help keep your hair from getting super tangled. Really the point is to keep your hair contained so that it doesnt tangle but not tying it so tight that it hurts and damages your hair

      Use two scrunchies and do two pineapples then secure it with a third. It will takes a few practice tries but once you get it, you’ll get to the point where you won’t even need the mirror. 😁

      fr my hair is down to my butt crack and this doesn't work at all. the fact that she calls shoulder length hair "long" is bizarre LOL. (but doesn't surprise me since she calls herself a "curly hair" even tho her hair is wavy...ok.) this is MEDIUM length hair at best.

    • @alysonlupo
      @alysonlupo  7 років тому

      No, never. After washing, I always diffuse my hair until almost completely air dry. For me pineappling is only for bedtime. Some wavies and curlies pineapple their hair during the day for additional volume, but that doesn't really work for me.
