Would you recommend one of these as a HPA base for a wolverine bolt and is it worth upgrading the hopup chamber? I would install a tridos TDC 2.0 and obviously a flamingo
Absolutely, I would. The only thing you need to be mindful of, is on the underside of receiver theres a hole where the line for the BOLT goes, you need to print a little adapter there to fill it. Stock hop unit with tridos and flamingo would be a good combo
Thank you for offering your knowledge to us players and people who want to further take this hobby beyond OOTB. My field limit is 3Js with .3 as the limit, What kind of spring would you recommend?
Great video, subs as well, got a CYMA 701 just before NAF which subsequently failed. Bolt racks, doesn't catch/lock, Only now getting round to fixing (too many projects 🤣 Gone down maple leaf cnc Gen 3 trigger/piston, 150 spring. See how it goes 👍👍
The maple leaf 90 degree triggers aren't bad for the price. Sadly most vsr come with poor stock 45 degree triggers and plastic internals which can fail very quickly
@@SniperMechanics i must admit the jg bar 10 is a extremley poor base to work with, receiver and cylinder are very rough, bolt pull is quite poor. Having problems with the 90 trigger going through to the upgraded piston. Ill have spend hours machining it to get it right, or buy a better quality set.
@@JFXBENGALS-The_P0NY-X They are very hit and miss quality wise vs how they used to be, which is why I suggest the Cyma. What's the issue you're having and what trigger/piston did you go for?
Basicly it all works until i put a 13mm 2 joule spring in and the zero trigger. The mapleleaf trigger does not protrude far enough in to catch the piston. I shortened the spring aswell just incase there wasnt enough room.
Ye nice video, I intend to buy a VSR701c from patrol base it’s the faux wood one. Comes with 6.03m, barrel and 500fps at .2, if I upgrade anything could it potentially make it illegal due to higher power?
Hi, i got in to servis TM VSR10 with that trigger. After sandig edges of the cylinder, for nicer pull, i got problem with sear catching the piston. Before, it was working with no problems. The cylinder had alot ob side edge. So if I shimm trigger lets say 0.3 shims, will it be better or is somethin else? It v9.2 trigger.
If you plan to upgrade, then they are absolutely required. The reason why the triggers are more expensive is they use considerably better materials than stock rifles do. On most stock rifles, there's next to no steel, especially on a VSR/SSG. A decent 90 degree trigger will be using high quality steel and aluminium, not pot metal, so they can be pricey.

@@SniperMechanics I was thinking of running CO2 in the stock as I've heard that will fit in that style stock
@@DavidBall717 yer you can absolutely do that, I used to run a mancraft kit with a c02 setup in the stock
Awesome vid man 🤙 extremely helpful ! Keep em coming ! 🔥💯
Glad it helped buddy :)
100% The best trigger for the vsr i had one of these a while ago and the durability is insane and the quality too
Absolutely agree! For the price they are outstanding :)
Dam fine video, always very helpful and insightful information
Much appreciated
God of the VSR has spoken
This is cool cus I’m building that very same gun probably using most of the same upgrades to
I have a few of these videos coming, so keep an eye out :)
Great vid, super helpful 👍
Thanks very much buddy

Just added maple leaf cylinder, 70⁰ bucking, omega nub, 2 barrel spacers and found some old acoustic foam and big dragon suppressor
Following along doing my jg bar 10
Awesome, part 3 should be coming soon!

@@SniperMechanics i brought yours, with the mapleleaf zero trigger. The 90 degree latch wont hold when the bolt is pulled

What upgrades can I use for asg .308

Just don't go over 2.3J and you'll be fine

@@SniperMechanics AA, but I managed it. Liftedwith 0.3mm shims, trigger works now 100%.
Why are vsr 10 triggers so expensive . It’s more expensive than the gun I bought itself. Is it worth it?
