- In today's video I unboxed my good friends brand new CYMA CM.701 Sniper Rifle. This is a clone of the TM VSR and is fully compatible. Would you recommend this gun or the bar 10 as a good base for VSR platform?
Im gona get the cyma vsr 10 with iron sights. I think i will take the upper reciever off and paint the stock green with spray paint

Good starting rifle to build from! I would suggest (if money allows) a pistol as back up and / or a normal aeg (automatic electric gun) to try out normal assault rifles as its two very different games depending on which you are using. Hope you enjoy it! Pheas

weird mine didn't come with 2 mags.. :p oh well i also need to buy proper sling mounts. but oh well no biggie
Thanks for the comment. That is odd. I thought they all came with 2 mags. I would think about contacting the seller and asking about the extra mag, they may not know it was missing.
Around 11:40 you mention the thread adaptors for a silencer, do you have any idea what size the thread is on the outer barrel? im guessing 16mm CCW, but just wanting to make sure before i order an adaptor. Thanks!
Hello, I don't know specifically, but it's the same one as used on Tokyo Marui, so it's a larger thread into the outer barrel that leaves the 14mm negative exposed on the end. I think it's a normal positive thread that screws into the outer barrel. Hope that helps. Pheas

I know im really late but for other people, the well MB03s interior parts arent as well made as cymas. Personally id buy the cyma CM.701B VSR BAR 10 .

@@nentic7811 I own all three of these. the MB03 has the worst quality internals, than the JG BAR10 and the Cyma CM701. the CM701 is also fully VSR compatible, you can upgrade any part you want. (I haven't, I use it as it came out of the box. never had an issue in 2 years)
You said it is negative but what is the mm of the suppressor treads?
Do you have a problem where, if you tap the stock near the hop hup it does a metallic weird noise? I think that's the sound of the inner barrel but I'm not sure. Is it normal to do that? I just got a new one today and it has this problem though I'm not sure if it's a real problem?
I am not aware of the sound, but your explanation would make sense. If you tapped the body around the hop unit it probably would move the barrel and make the kind of noise you are describing. If the gun works as expected though then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Pheas

What is quality of stock like in this compared to TM VSR10? Looking for a shell to upgrade. Thanks
Hiya. If anything... Slightly better than the TM. It's out of the box higher FPS and copies with it better, but will need a sear eventually. Where as the TM is only built for Japanese fps so needs heavy upgrades. Shell wise... No difference, so I would save the money and get the cyma one. Pheas
Quick question is the inner barrel support to wobble around a lot or is it supost to be still
Most inner barrels wobble but you can make your own spacers which improve the accuracy, like if you line foam inside it
how far maximum range ? in stock i mean
mine came with 2.3 joules out of the box. with .40 BB-s, 70-75 meters max out of the box.

Hiya, this one we got from Taiwan gun, they have a whole sniper section. I would possibly look at borrowing a friends sniper rifle to start with to try it for a game or two, that said if money isn't an issue then get one, but I would advise a cheap one (then you haven't lost much if you don't like it) playing with a sniper is a very different play style. I don't think it is changeable on the site, but it's easy to swap out spring for lower energy

@@sgambless Grooby is right. They don't offer a downgrade on snipers on TG but it's very easy to change the spring afterwards for a suitable one. Pheas

Thanks for the comment. In my newer stuff I've switched to using my phone instead and that is much better quality. But I am looking at different options as I knew the sound quality wasn't always great. But I appreciate the feedback.

Hiya. Out of the box around 470fps with a 0.2g bb. Pheas

@@kkc-sxy2240 Hiya, we did upgrade it, with a spring and hop rubber and it went over 500FPS, so we had to put the original spring back in and it sat at about 490 fps, I will ask my friend if he can remember what rubber we used. Pheas

@@p3eqo75 Hiya, sorry I misread what you had asked. The original is the Tokyo Marui VSR and it's varients. CYMA have cloned it, JG have cloned it and Well have cloned it also. So lots of options to get one! Sorry about the confusion. Pheas

@@p3eqo75 out of the box probably the CYMA or the well. But any of them will need upgrades very quick to keep working or meet fps limits for sniping needs. Based on the number of upgrades (and cost) that people do I'd say that the well one would be a good option as it's so cheap to get started with.
