They cook proper food (no microwave nonsense) in there & you can sit. down there.
But not every train has a restaurant car cuz they are expensive 2 run.

There are many options when it comes to trains:
-metropolitan trains letters:
SKM - Szybka Kolej Miejska Warszawa - Warsaw Suburban railways (Warsaw commuter railways)
SKM/PKM - Szybka Kolej Miejska Trójmiasto / Pomorska Kolej Metropolitalna - Tri-city Suburban railways/Pomeranian metropolitan railways (They are the same thing. The commuter railway/ The 'Metro' / The 'Subway' of Tri-city: Gdynia, Sopot and Gdańsk)
-regional trains REGIO letters:
R - POLREGIO
KM - Koleje Mazowieckie / Masovian railways (Warszawa/Warsaw)
KM - Koleje Małopolskie / Lesser Poland railways (Kraków/Cracow)
KD - Koleje Dolnośląskie / Lower Silesian railways (Wrocław)
KŚ - Koleje Śląskie / Silesian railways (Katowice)
KW - Koleje Wielkopolskie / Greater Poland railways (Poznań)
R - POLREGIO (rest of Poland)
-long-distance InterCity trains letters:
TLK - cheap intercity train
IC - InterCity train

It's complicated. The best thing you can do is check it through website: rozklad-pkp.pl/en
And BTW 'Główny' means central/main.

1:14 - W in Polish is like simple V in English and Polish ł is English W, W at end of word is pronounced more like F, so it would be something like Vrotswaf in English. ;-)

As Polish guy i strongly advice to travel to our country during warmer months. Especially when You love nature. Spring, Summer and Fall are better. Also don't stick to obvious destinations ... Instead of Wrocław go to Toruń, ditch Kraków and Zakopane and visit Szklarska Poręba or Lublin. Depends what You like. Visit at least one of our Natoinal Parks. Poland heart is not in big cities...

Guys it's great to see you explore my country! Wrocław is a great city, my fav one in PL but.. you must get to KALISZ my hometown and Poland's oldest town. It's only 1,5hr train away from Wrocław and you can spend a night there to explore the old town. I do recommend to book a stay at the modern and really good Hampton by Hilton. They have sushi place, wine bar and the fitness with the pool on the top floor.
Guys, Polish trains are so cool cause of you have the whole cabin only to yourselves, you can even even have a quick kiss during your journey!😉

Due to Stalin - Roosevelt- Churchill pact. Poland's boarders from the East have been moved -given to SOviet Union and German west borders including Wrocław allocated Polish refugees in1945. So Panorama Racławicka from Lwòw is now in Wrocław.

On that estate I remember ( husband's family refugees Lvov to Wrocĺaw and his father in Uk found them self only in 1965) visited them and wonderful cake shop with cakes receives came with refugees.

You say the weather is crazy, but it's that time of year. At this time of the year, traveling by train is comfortable, unlike in the summer when there are crowds of people and it is best to book on-line a month in advance because whether 1st class or 2nd class (which is a bit cramped - 8 people) - tickets are sold with places. The main hall is interesting and the outer shape of the Main Railway Station resembles a castle. I think you enjoyed your stay in Poland , although the time of year is not very favorable for sightseeing .😀

What I do: Get on the train at the closest door and then walk down the aisle inside the train to the correct coach/compartment. There is no requirement to board through a specific door in Poland.
We realise that now but to walk down is a lot harder with a huge suitcase lol!
Guys, you shpuld made a better effort to pronounce Place names (and peoples names) my polish really sucks, but guys im crin ging everytime yoe name your destination city or origin city. Guys it's VROTS-WOF

Hi Dabble and Travel - nice video - the pronounciation is Vrotz-w-av...so 'w' is 'v' in Polish...the c in this case is like in English 'tz'...the l is actually an l with a line through it which sounds like w in English...another name for the city is Breslau (the old German name for it)
I used to live in Wroclove for some time but I'd say the best time to visit is obviously spring/summer/early fall or Christmas time, but I'm sure you'll get so much out of it. Check out the Zoo and water park ;)

It's pronounced like "Vrotswav" but with a rolling r so maybe more like "Vlrotswav". You have to practice it 😅

Pendolino train od faster and better
We genuinely enjoy watching your videos. We live in Poland and have connections with Serbia so we've seen all your adventures in those Serbian villages and Novi Sad etc as well. By the way, check out Elbląg and Płock the next time you're in Poland. Granted, you won't have to spend more than a day in these places, but they have such quaint old towns. Keep up the humility and don't change a thing.

3:25 Those numbers there are track numbers. It's a bit strange in Katowice train station, platform 1 has for example tracks 7 and 9. That train in background BTW is the Silesian Railways Stadler Flirt - a regional train. In fact all the trains shown in the station, apart from the one you guys were using, are Silesian Railways.
