Hello, friends and fellow Queen fans!
It's mind boggling to think I've just celebrated a decade performing the music of Queen, around the globe, with incredible musicians in both the rock and symphonic world. The places I've been, the faces I've seen... and the songs we've sung! Thank you all so much for showing up to hundreds of concerts, enjoying and sharing my videos, and buying my music, whether Queen, Christmas, or otherwise!
I have been looking forward to announcing something exciting, and something you'll start noticing soon. As you know, I've performed tributes to Queen's music under a variety of names, and I'm so grateful for the way you've followed me and the music over the years; ultimately, my team and I know that this can be confusing to you and the marketplace - and we are going to remedy some of that!
In 2020, on a 20-date tour of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, we performed for the first time under the banner "ONE VISION OF QUEEN," and we immediately fell in love with the name, and added the song "One Vision" to our set, which has now become one of our staples from night to night. I love this name because it truly best describes who we are and what we do as a band, striving to be the most note-for-note-authentic, and exciting tribute in the world. As I've said from the very beginning, for us, it's all about the music. Anyone who has seen my shows knows it's a different kind of tribute, in which I weave my own personal story with Queen and their music through the evening, without imitation, always approaching the original material with reverence, as well as the enormous sense of freedom Queen themselves are known for in their live performances.
Though we are changing names, from The Ultimate Queen Celebration to ONE VISION OF QUEEN, the core band itself remains the same. Brandon, Tristan, Mike and Oskar - who I consider some of the finest musicians in the world - are looking forward to joining me in all the upcoming shows and reaching even more audiences worldwide. Together, we will be visiting new cities, new countries, working new songs into the set list, and will even be releasing a live album coming this Fall - stay tuned for all the above!
In 2023 we have multiple international tours already in the works, to be announced soon, and we are focussed on bringing ONE VISION OF QUEEN, and the music of Queen, to new venues and markets across North America, as well as internationally. And while you may see me performing Queen with other configurations, my band ONE VISION OF QUEEN is my primary and major focus, going forward.
Thank you for giving me the absolute best job on the planet! I couldn't be more grateful for you. Let's keep on rock and rolling, and I'll see you on the road!

It is not only disrespectful to musicians who have been banned from performing in Azerbaijan; it is also disrespectful to the democratic activists imprisoned there for speaking out against injustice and corruption.
The music we create is a reflection of the world around us. When we perform in a dictatorship, we are endorsing that regime and its actions. This may be viewed as an artistically irrelevant decision, but it does have political implications.
Marc, would be cool to see you from San Diego. I listen to your impersonator album pretty much any time I drive anywhere on repeat. I wish we could get more Marc Martel originals. Here’s to hoping!! 🍻

Artists are responsible for promoting peace, revealing wrongs, and naming things by their names. As a socially responsible artist, you have certainly contributed to these causes.

It’s sooooooo hard to convince Marc to add at least Paradise - since it’s trending - to his concert set. I would skip Ave Maria and do Paradise instead! Next time I am at his concert, I am going to chant “Paradise! Paradise!” Until he plays it! Seriously, peops! Muse would kill for that song!

They decided to go on a break as a band, with most of the guys getting married and starting families. Jason Germaine is doing music mastering, Glenn Lavender has a bee farm and meadery, and Jeremy Thiessen is an investments counselor. The last time they all got together was to celebrate their former music label, Centricity, (that they were the launch artists for) anniversary. Jason still works with Marc on some recordings. Marc has played at Glenn's farm. And they are all just getting on with life in the way that is best for them.
Congrats on your success and your involvement in "Bohemian Rhapsody". Thank you for keeping Freddy's spirit and sound alive.
I am really happy that the Queen thing is so big for you and everyone else, it is keeping the live aspect of Queen going for new and old followers, however...... One of my favorite albums, out of hundreds I have, is IMPERSONATOR, such a fantastic piece of work, but I want more. Will you / are you working on another (excluding Christmas). You are a natural and your own material is excellent.

Marc, I know that you as a singer want to have your own thing not tied to repeat queen songs. I totally get it. I'm sure that you're one of the most talented singers in the world. He's got several covers of Nessun Dorma! He attempts a bel canto in the video where he's wearing a white shirt. Though I would argue that all of these are his "natural" voice, just different aspects of it. It would only be "unnatural" if he needed digital editing to make that sound (i.e. couldn't reproduce the song in a live performance).

Are you going to be in Utah next year? I loved your band Downhere and was so bummed when you guys broke up. I always thought you sounded like Freddie too. Queen was my favorite band growing up. I saw them live three times and no one was like Freddie. Until you came along. Wow is all I can say! It's like you are Freddie incarnate. I hope to be able to see you perform live. Marc has done quite a few deep cuts: Liar, Flick of the Wrist, March of the Black Queen, Lily of the Valley, the Prophets’ Song, In the Lap of the Gods 1& 2, and some others. Search under “Queen Extravaganza,” “QuEx,” or Marc’s name.
Would love to have these rotating back into the setlist! Those deep cuts didn't get a big chance to tour internationally!

Marc hasn't announced any shows in Barcelona! If you are going to see "Queen Extravaganza", it will be with Alirio Netto as the lead vocalist.

That date isn't on Marc's schedule. Marc isn't the singer for Queen Extravaganza any more, it's Alirio Netto. In some cases, Queen Extravaganza is still using Marc's voice in their promos, unfortunately.
