troll this lake a lot and Dixie hollow where it looks like you are is always full of fish on the finder was just there last weekend wasn't a huge success but hey any day on the lake is a success even if you catch any fish or not
Brent Richie there is no fee to fish there, unless you go to the campgrounds to the north and south. Fishing can be accessed along the east side of the lake and a little bit on the north side. Good luck and thanks for watching.
I agree! Although, I have been fishing close to others that did not catch a thing. Just a couple of weeks ago I was teaching a couple how to fish at the lake, as they had never fished before and I let the young one reel in one of mine.
Good to know! I thought this was a boat only fishery. I drive by this on my way to the Weber river. Would fly fishing from the shore work for top water and sub surface work ? What species are in this reservoir ? Can you use 2 rods there ?
Pat Shozo thanks for watching! Yes, fly fishing from the shore works for both top and subsurface, early morning and evenings are best. There are multiple species in this lake. Browns, rainbows, cutthroat, tiger, smallmouth bass, black crappies, splake, wipers, & Kokanee. You are good to use two poles here. Good luck out there! +Jeffrey Brown I like to fish the north east corner, before the turn to head west. I have also had great success along the east side wherever you can hike down to. Thanks for watching and Good luck!
