  • This is the second in my series of MasterClass videos. The first video covered the theory and explained the interface elements. In this video we take a look at generating your own presets using the Randomize function, and how to load/save/import/export presets. We also take a quick look at the quick search and favourites features. Other covered topics include creating custom colour sets and object templates and how to back them up using Web Transfer.

The randomization function for generating our own presets is brilliant! Starting with this and then tweaking things once we hear something we like.. makes sound design an easy + fun process.. Thanks for the Masterclasses Paul.. absolutely essential viewing..

Great info. I've tried the randomize to create a bunch of my own presets using the randomizer and then tweak them a bit, and very quickly generated some pretty interesting sounds. I've also used my Orba device to modulate the sounds using the mod wheel and pitch bend, and got some really nice effects from the bowing and other settings.
