StringLab is a physical string modeling synthesizer based on Karplus-Strong theory. It is capable of reproducing the sounds of many different types of instruments, but is especially useful in the reproduction of hammered or plucked strings and other types of percussive instruments
It works by passing carefully crafted waveforms and short bursts of white noise through a series of tuned delay lines. The delay lines have an internal feedback loop with a series of filters to mimic the natural decay of harmonics found in a real instrument.
StringLab allows you to discover the character of real-world acoustics, exploring the physics of how materials interact. Many new and original textures are born out of experimenting with the settings, so don't be afraid to experiment and create your own unique and dynamic instruments

I'm totally new to iPad music producing, tried it years ago but there's a huge blast since 10 years ago...and apps like this one proof this! As I'm handicapped and almost have to stay in bed it's fantastic to make music again❤

I’m a big fan of 4pockets. I have more of Paul’s apps than any other developer. And yet I don’t own them all. He has a lot apps I think he has the most out of anyone. I don’t own StingLab it’s my first time seeing it in action and I love all those presets. The guitars are my favorite. You played them well

So many gorgeous sounds! Plucked/hammered sounds are some of my absolute faves.. they can be short + get out of the way quickly in a mix.. or linger on.. beautiful..

The soundings that this white nose physical modeling machine generates are phenomenal. From what I can hear, StringLab is AMAZING ‼️ The bouncy, springy, and deep bass sounds at the beginning of your video are fun to hear👂. 4Pockets developed something especially nice here, indeed‼️💯🔴

I'm a big fan of plucks and Paul caters to my preference with his physical modeling absolutely magnificent. I would love to layer these over presets of other synths. Something I prefer to do rather than create them from scratch. With a little fine tuning you can embed them beautifully into other sounds. Thanks for this preset demo, they also sound really awesome stand alone.
