I 100% agree with Linda, I love because you are just being yourself and down to earth and fun love seeing you experiment and most of all you can make the most Dam excuse me gorgeous blooms on this earth I am trying to play catch-up you videos I will eventually!! But your xlg Blooms just blow me away and you can make the most amazing beautiful blows on the petals!!! Keep up your great art experience and experimenting because they not but one Lisa Marvin Art my friend!!! So happy you made the decision couple years ago to come on utube because if not we would never got to be on this amazing stunning journey of yours!!! They do many artists even myself just can’t push themselves to get their art and starting a art journey!! I can’t because I have health issues that prevent me for weeks sometimes couple months from being able to go in my studio to work I go and study get to watch you and some more this is what keeps pushing me every time I watch you doing the huge blooms is what keeps me focus and don’t give up because of the wonderful journey of yours and stunning artwork!! Just remember always you have gave many artist in this world the biggest inspiration from your art and so much of just being yourself!!! I used to never comment on videos well they been times I can’t even type, now I really make a point to make a comment on your videos because I know it’s really important to keep your channel going !! Congratulations on your ducted , stunning art, and a beautiful down to earth personality!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I just started watching your videos. I’m very glad I did- I’m usually watching videos late at night and usually end up falling asleep, but you’re so down to earth and fun to watch that I stay awake!
Wow! It's really beautiful! Awesome! Fantastic! Thank you very much for showing your technique. Can you do your beautiful art work on the wall using this technique?
So gorgeous. After watching another one of your video’s earlier today I went and did a bloom painting with cells. It isn’t as lovely as yours and I still have flocculation on the edges. I was also so excited because I saw what I was doing wrong that I mixed my paint wrongly. I am starting to have trouble thinking of three things at the same time. It doesn’t matter what my painting looks like. You fixed so many problems I was having. Thank you. ❤️
Thank you soooo ….. much for your pillow paint video , you have saved my life 😃I live in the U K and knew it was my pillow paint letting me down , tried your suggestion and it worked ! Thanks again Karen
Hey, I'm in the UK too & can't work out if they're all using emulsion (for walls) or gloss (for woodwork) as pillow paint! What paint are you using please?
Aussie Floetral has a couple additives. One is a wood conditioner or something. Thanks for this. Tilting can distort cells. I prefer spins. Will keep watching...
I just came across your channel when looking for a cell activator recipe. I learned so much more about the pillow paint. I too wondered how Shelee pillow paint moves so quickly. I’m going to try your recipe. I look forward to looking at your channel for other videos 😍
@@cynthiawilson8294 I'm glad to hear that because I have semi gloss for my pillow paint. I do use Sherman Williams color to go and it is only in Satin. Seems to work great and I can have it colored any color I want and a quart is less than $9.00 in the US.
Gorgeous...love the experimenting. I find the same thing. Would love to see you play around with North American floetrol for the cell activator. I am in Canada as well and refuse to pay the crazy prices for Aussie floetrol.
I ring a little glue and conditioner does work but I see it so it’s very poofy if that makes sense. Would be nice to see them side by side but I don’t have Aussie floetrol...but you do 😉lol
Wowie! I love that it’s so vibrant & love the cool cells! Btw, you have a perfect water backyard! It reminds me of my daughter’s neighborhood in Calgary, AB.
Hi Lisa. Great painting. I just happened to search for different pillow paints that others use. And that mix looks great. Gonna try that. Also I have an idea you may like as well. Instead of glue, what about a textile medium. They've made to be stretchy...but they are very very fluid so would need to adjust the ratios. Just an idea. I use folkart textile medium in my cell activator. I saw another artist use GAC 900. Its a textile medium as well for fabric
Just found you. You are very talented. I just joint the group and class. Lots to learn. What size and where do you get you spinner and other supplies please.
Absolutely gorgeous… I agree don’t tilt it it’s perfect… The only thing I probably would have done prior to that was to tighten up my canvas a little bit with water… I’m trying to get a bloom but my pillow sucks and I use the same recipe you use glue all flow trawl and I put in titanium white and mine came out like crap but I also use the hairdryer and I am bad really horrible with the hairdryer then I tried to blow the store and it was too late I had just playing messed it up But nothing is a mistake everything is an experiment and a suggestion…
sooo beautiful. Does the art still look as good now? have not used the glue yet some say the colors yellow over time if use the glue. Thank you for sharing this process.
Please can you explain the difference between paint and cell activator? Also I tried to do a pour and used satin house paint (emulsion) and then used acrylic colours mixed with liquitex medium. All of my colours dissapeared into the pillow of white when I tried my first ever swipe. I am very new to fluid art and am having far more failures than successes, but I gues that’s quite common. Any advice would be appreciated. Your pours look effortless and amazing by the way🙂
Well, this one is way stunning! Got a little confused with your colors as you were layering them. Got to go back & listen again. After watching this video and then the next one where you experimented with 5 different combos, I think I like this one with the glue all best. What do you think Lisa? Which one is your very favorite? I am going to go to Shelee FB and see if maybe you already answered that question. Would love to see your Sneakers sometime. Must show him! Keep well. C ya shortly on FB! 😘😍🥰🐇💕
Though this is an older video to you I am learning this technique now and watched you on Facebook today. You are a stitch! I have done a single painting yet,; perhaps tomorrow. I'll start on tiles like everyone does but I'm trying to a good bit of information under my belt. I still have trouble with regular fluid art getting cracks and such (thought that was well behind me, but oh well). I have spent so much money getting ready for this and next week I face my10th back surgery. What have I done? Anyway, this was gorgeous and I'm interested to know if you are delighted with your paint, glue, and Floetrol mix.
Amazing cells. What are you adding to your regular colors. I'm a bit confused about the ratios. I have the pillow ready to go but I'm mot sure if you add polyacrylic to all the colors or just the cell activators
Thankyou so much for your video, I have just started this technique & got some good lacing & cells, but my pillow paint is letting me down as it is cracking, I have been using "spring" low sheen acrylic & a little water ( Australia) I will try gloss housepaint ,Aussie Floetrol & glue to see if the cracking stops. 😃
I love that your hands are covered in paint. That's what I look like when I Paint!
#1 - Your painting is stunning #2 - You are a breath of fresh air #3 - I subscribed because you are so down to earth, and very talented!!
Linda Cohen thank you!! I appreciate it :)

I love your experiments! This is gorgeous. Have you continued using this recipe? Thanks! Katie
Your painting had the most vivid 3d effect of the center. Like it was sitting above the rest of the painting. Stunning.
Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Yr result is amazing! Love it! Was great with naked space, too; oh, negative space at edges to start with....you are a star! Thanks so much! 😁💕💎
Aussie Floetral has a couple additives. One is a wood conditioner or something. Thanks for this. Tilting can distort cells. I prefer spins. Will keep watching...
Like what you Said; Perfectly Beautiful. Like the recipe 😊

Awesome! My hands always look like yours when I paint 😄

I just came across your channel when looking for a cell activator recipe. I learned so much more about the pillow paint. I too wondered how Shelee pillow paint moves so quickly. I’m going to try your recipe.

Aw thank you!!
Spray the back of the canvas with water so it tightens nicely for you. Also, the higher the gloss of the pillow paint, the more it will stretch.
That makes sense .. even though a Satin house paint is listed in the #sheleeart USA product list for the pillow paint.
I don’t do Bloom technique, but I am a nerd.
@@cynthiawilson8294 I'm glad to hear that because I have semi gloss for my pillow paint. I do use Sherman Williams color to go and it is only in Satin. Seems to work great and I can have it colored any color I want and a quart is less than $9.00 in the US.
Amazing color combo.

Gorgeous...love the experimenting. I find the same thing. Would love to see you play around with North American floetrol for the cell activator. I am in Canada as well and refuse to pay the crazy prices for Aussie floetrol.
biner59 thank you! I did in the beginning and it was hard lol. Maybe I’ll go back it now that I know more!
I ring a little glue and conditioner does work but I see it so it’s very poofy if that makes sense. Would be nice to see them side by side but I don’t have Aussie floetrol...but you do 😉lol

Stunning
I love the colors! Turned out really nice
Thank you!
Just wondering if silicone can be used as a cell activator for this technique? Your work is beautiful! Thank you for sharing your talents
Do you have a video on how to make a cell activator? Oh and by the way this is absolutely phenomenal! The colors are incredible. Absolutely eye candy.
I love it!!
Thank you so much Lisa 🙏🙏🙏 I ruined many projects because my pillow paint doesn't want to stretch correctly 🥺🥺🥺 I'm going to try this for sure !!!!!!
Just found you. You are very talented. I just joint the group and class. Lots to learn. What size and where do you get you spinner and other supplies please.

It is stunning, but what do you mean by this has cell activator?.what components are there in the specific clrs and why?

If you're using Australian floetrol do you bother with glue as well and is your ratio then 4:1?

I’m still experimenting! I’ve also tried adding a bit of water when I want to use the hair dryer!
Really love your videos. I've just subscribed to the Sheleeart Course and used your code. Can't wait to start experimenting!
Yay! Have fun!
Love It, i tried everything but never get the cells 😩😩 what do I do wrong, please tell me 😄
Are you mixing anything in with all your colors, for example water?

Hi, loved your painting. How much colour to pouring medium you used?
Wonderful colours. I still like the blooms with paints vs pigments. Where/how do you get the Aussie floetrol in Canada?
This is awesome! Question… for this technique I notice many artist use wood. Can this be done on canvas?
It can but it sags
Lisa what did you decide about which paint for the bloom pillow?
I use Glidden essentials eggshell now :)
Thank you
Do you use Glidden premium semi gloss pure white base 1 or base 2 which must be tinted?
Thankyou so much for your video, I have just started this technique & got some good lacing & cells, but my pillow paint is letting me down as it is cracking, I have been using "spring" low sheen acrylic & a little water ( Australia) I will try gloss housepaint ,Aussie Floetrol & glue to see if the cracking stops. 😃
