If your distances between the re-bars are 6" then the column has to be at least 14"

Lekin kya aap bata sakte hai
Coloumn ko kitne distance par de sakte hai maximum
Example :- mera pass 15' x 40' ka plot hai
Me isme 14'4" x 16' ka hall dena chahta hu
To kya isme 16' ki distance par coloumn wall ka load bear kar payenge
Ya mujhe 2 coloumn between dene honge?
I think 6"c/c is for striup(ring).c/c is use for ring

Your 6 inches cc for vertical column bars is inaccurate if the column dimension is 12 inches out to out, if you have 40mm coverage, rough.y an 1 3/4 inches would require your stirrup to be 9 inches in width, now put 1 bar in each of the four corners and one in between will put that that center bar at 4 1/2 inches cc, 6 inches cc is incorrect sir.

If you divide 1 inch into 2 equal parts, each part will be 1/2 = 0.5 inch. If you divide 1 inch into 4 parts then each part will be 1/4= 0.25 inches And If You Divide One Inch Into 8 Parts Then 1/8= 0.125 inches. This (1/8) or (0.125) inches is Called ONE Sutar.

1" = 25.399 mm
So = 25.4/8= 3.175mm or 1 soot or 1/8" now any quarry
