This song is really powerful and still extremely relevant. I hope you check out more of their music in the future. Waiting for the End and The Messenger are other amazing songs by them.

Love your reactions. So genuinely interested, especially with important music like this. For me this has always been a song about being brutally honest with one's self. Truly accepting the implications of our own actions. "there's no alibi. Because I've drawn regret from the truth of 1000 lies." Being the people they are/were, they don't dump that responsibility on the fans by saying 'what we've done', but if the pictures we're being shown is what Chester is saying he's done, then by extension it's what we've all done. And it's not only relevant, but in fact becomes more relevant with each passing day, because nothing has changed.
You are right, they have grown. And their music and themselves, but not the audience. They founded a foundation: Music for Relief - helping victims of natural disasters
Everything about this song since I first heard it in 2010 is still amazing.
Started watching your reacts because of Rammstein, which I came back in touch recently, and now I'm loving to see you react to Linkin Park, which is my favorite band since I was a kid, still very relatable to me, thanks!

The beauty, that you kind of felt in the music, is that it's largely about forgiving ourselves and loving each other. Everyone sins; maybe only a little, maybe a lot, but the only point in continuing life is if there's merciful love to combat all the violence and cruelty.

Great reaction! If you want to listen to another song that Linkin Park wrote about things that made them angry it would be The Little Things Give You Away. Its about how little was done by the government for the victims of hurricane Katrina that hit New Orleans and other southern US areas so hard.

Why do you think some teenagers were so angry. When I was a teenager, Numb was my favorite. Yes, I was angry, but the anger came from the pain I was feeling. Pain for me, the suffering of other people, and the planet. The pain turned into anger when I realized there was nothing I could do about it. Like you guys mentioned, most of the stuff in this music video has been going on forever. You either get angry and fight your way through or let the pain drag you down and lose your will to live.
