I know the two couples' relationships ended, but it should not have ended the band. If Stevie and Lindsay could put up with each other in Fleetwood Mac, then surely ABBA could have done the same. Even Chris Stein and Deborah Harry are still very close friends despite no longer having a romance. This is welcome news. And given how wildly popular their music still is, even among Milennials thanks to the 'Mama Mia' movies, IT IS TIME FOR POP RADIO TO END ITS BAR AGAINST OLDER ARTISTS! Let new music by ABBA, Blondie, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, etc. be played alongside Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber and 5 Seconds Of Summer! ALL music is good, regardless of age of the performers.
This is fantastic, ABBA makes such perfect and beautiful music it can never go away, head and shoulders above the rest, so pleased about the reunion, new songs and revival of Chess, now it doesnt get any better than that :)
Love Music you are correct! Even Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons of KISS praised them highly on VH1's '100 Greatest Women In Rock'. It gave me gooseflesh when I heard them. I admired them more for showing such respect for fellow musicians, even if they are from such divergent genres. I actually like both acts! I appreciate the craft, regardless of style.

go for it. mud cant sweet cant,and a few others. they can the stones hold the bench mark of older bands playing live cant see them touring maybe a show or 2 television appearences but like the beatles who late on on in there carreer.stopped playing live.but still got the huge hits putting new songs out.they could do that.

That was funny at the end she asked them if they’d like to go on tour again and the looked at like she was crazy! Bjorn says Have you ever been on tour? Good answer! Obviously Not! Endless touring can kill you plus they are middle aged now and the couch and the sofa look much more appealing then going out on the road. Benny said it best! It’s a hard life! On tour it sure is!

Why on earth now when they are over 70 years? They had a lot of oportunities to do this earlier. They disbanded 35 years ago, why now? Obviusly there are not more requests for reunion now than 20 years ago! And even if it's not a reunion but only to record some songs, for ABBA fans who waited so long may look strange! Anyway do not expect the same sound, they evolved in different directions so i expect to hear something else!
