Great Video, very helpful to clarify the degree of post production clean up. Often people show cuts and then fail to mention a ton of sanding and finishing technique used. Now if my sign just looks that goods!

hey paw paw luv your videos got a new cnc 4 newbies and if it wasnt for your video never would of gotten it together. tks on a side note if you had switch the jar to the opposite side as well as the fry pan think you would find would of looked alot better for the lay out .just a thought .i do alot of design work .

If you had reduced the nodes in the pan would the details still be there?
Yes, you have to zoom in very close, then pick and chose which nodes to delete.
So easel has improved the tool paths there’s nothing I need to do different?
No, you do not have to do anything. It is seamless.
Hi, I just got a Foxalien 4040 XE and am using Easel but my my version looks different than yours, I don't have file button and am in able to use detail on workpiece portion. Is this because I'm using trial version?

Does this work with x-carve or do you have to have x carve pro? I'm asking for my husband. Thank you.
To do the vcarve like this does require easel pro. This font is also a font only available in easel pro. There are other ways to do this sign. You could use an 1/8” or a 1/16” down cut bit and get similar results
@@PawPawsWorkShop okay thank you. He does have easel pro! But he just has the regular x-carve and not the x-carve pro. I will tell him that it will work! Woohoo! 🥰
@@ItsReallyCheryl the xcarve pro is just a bigger CNC machine. You can carve anything you wish on the regular xcarve. Mine is over three years old and I have done hundreds of different kinds of projects. Should you have any questions I will try and answer. The CNC machine is tons of fun and very rewarding.
