Hello everyone! The Act 3 video is finally out. I tried my best to get all the big juicy items, quests and etc. in there so that you can experience most of the content even on your first run without spoiling much. Hope you enjoy it!
I am on my first playtrough. And i had found all of this. How did you miss these? The diabolist line is literally given to you. I guess you are one of those guys who just run trough the game doing only the main quests. How long was your first playtrough?
Act 3 has not been an enjoyable experience. I'm on PS5 and my characters keep talking about things that never happen and my game crashes whenever I try to go back to Wyrm's Crossing.
Not really game changing, but if you pay 200g for a room in the Elfsong Tavern you get a permanent giant hotel room as your campsite. I love it so cozy ❤
Here are some lesser moments: In act 2, there is a female merchant that arrives in act 3. In act 2, she want a mushroom. If you get the mushroom for her in Act 2, you can buy 2 mushrooms at a time in Act 3 from her. They are full rejuvenation mushrooms and can even help anybody with memory loss and removing curses on people. If the husband dies in Act 2, you can get a woman a cat in Act 3. There are two different cats you can give her. Dammon can make armor out of the infernal alloy which is why so much of it drops. The armor is rotational so you can't pick just gloves for instance. If you have a monk, you'll want the gloves. There is a newspaper quest line that can be hard or easy depending on another quest mentioned in the video. If you do this quest first, it is harder. Note that the newspaper headlines change per full rest after accomplishing some of the quests. You can meet Gordash's parents since they are merchants. You can learn Wither's real name and function in one of the tombs in the graveyard in Act 3. There is a grave mentioned in Act 1 which is in Act 3 in the same graveyard. You don't need to give the wheel turner the ring to make it hit its mark. You don't have to fight the dinosaur at the circus if you get to the dinosaur before the fight, speak with animals and feed it. The murder quest actually ends when you go back to the police station and talk to the woman that was investigating the crimes. She'll give you about 900 gold. The people at the cemetery that lost people to the murder will acknowledge the murder's death.
Before going to Flymms Cargo Speak to Flood Tide Allandra Grey before going to the Iron Throne you pick up a quest to find the monster that killed one of her people....to resolve it you have to kill the dwarf operating the sub(or just steal the reward)
Police station? Near the basilisk gate? The murder quest was one of the most tedious yet anticlimatic ending i wouldnt figure theres a reward for it thank you 😭😭
For the section starting 12:10 "Extra quest" with the sword, helmet, and lore, VERY important to note that if you do this quest early you will most likely break Wyll's personal quest for good. Especially if you are on a romance path with him, if you do this quest before the game prompts you to (an npc related to him will mention searching for a dragon), you'll lose out on a lot of Wyll content and possibly not be able to complete his romance even after his personal quest is complete. Wyll has a lot of game-breaking bugs, but this one is especially painful since all the guides say to rush this area without even mentioning it's related to Wyll at all
I'd stumbled upon that area completely by chance in my playthrough, and was flummoxed when I beat the boss of the area and I got a journal update telling me to report back to an NPC that I'd never spoken to nor had access to. Not surprised that it also breaks Wyll's stuff too, though I didn't use him much so it wasn't obvious in my game.
Glad I’m not romancing Wyll because I did this, and the npc did in fact approach me afterwards w/ no clue what I had done, but I was able to calm said npc down. I did complete the Blade of Frontiers questline still though, but I don’t know if that’s the personal questline you’re referring to that breaks.
@Leesahpumpkindino They say they've implemented some changes to make it break less but my last run that was uh. not true. So I say save Ulder and THEN do the quest if you're wanting to be extra safe. If you're not romancing Wyll it's less dire
I wish their studio partnered with a book publishing company to release a guide and old school walk-through book of the game that would be amazing .. I definitely will buy one ,I know we got the internet but it just not the same
Important one for magic missile thats making me consider reloading a previous save. U need to have gale in party and talk to tressym at rooftop above the clown. Then later in inner city u can but a hat (i think) that allows u to reroll the 1s & 2s on each magic missile!
One thing about the statue buff: It will go away for the day if your character is blessed by normal means (the bless spell or the ring that blesses on heal). Once the duration of the regular bless expires, the permanent bless doesn't come back :( Pretty annoying...
This is amazing! I truly appreciate how much you share on missable content yet not enough to spoil any of the story or play through. You get a thumbs up!
Any other BG2 fans notice how ACT3 BG3 feels like act1 in shadows? Huge city you're dropped in with only a little direction and a ton of things to explore
I’m almost certain a lot of people felt there wasn’t enough content in act 3 because they didn’t realize you can go into every building. Act 3 definitely isn’t what I would considered finished or polished compared to act 1 but the patch updates brings some hope. This game really encourages players to be proactive rather than reactive
I actually did all of those quests ! But in all fairness my first play through was over 210 hours to complete. Thanks for the video ! I agree I wish I could use the mirror to forget my play through so that I could do it again!!
You don't have to wear the genies ring to win spin the wheel. U just gotta take it outa his inventory after that you'll win on the next go regardless of wether you have the ring equipped or not
I would like to add about Philgrave's Mansion, through the questline you can get an extremely powerful staff for necromancy builds as well as other little things!
I ended up getting this accidentally. There is another quest nearby that might make people think about the 4th of July, and I wanted to do some calamitous things to a building nearby and I figured that the mansion would make a good vantage/sniping point. I entered it, noticed some baddies, and promptly killed them getting said staff.
It's possible to get +3 permanent buff from the Mirror of Loss - one being fixed as a +1 to charisma. The interaction seems to be RNG based, with the initial religion and archana checks increasing the chance for it to happen. In order to get it, complete the two checks, then leave and reopen dialogue with the mirror. The first thing you should then see (before it gives you an option to offer a memory) is a dialogue about an unknown memory that you dont recognise. You canthen interact with it again to get the +2. You have to get the +1 first, then the +2. In the same token, the reason for offering up multiple memories is that each one only gives you a chance of a permanent buff. Also, if you read the book of thay and have the forbidden knowledge buff, you can offer the mirror that instead of offering a memory. It doesnt apply a curse, but I'd only do this if nothing else works (as it guarantees the boost)
You can also hold shift to see if you're in anyone's line of sight, and if not. You can pick pocket them anyways. I had a +13 sleight of hand on astarion and managed to get them just by hiding and making sure no one was looking lol.
I'm playing this non stop and now on hiatus for a long time, it got so overwhelming on what to do again in act 3 hahah, watching this to not miss anything big
7:00 Easy "fix" re Dammon's prices. When you first encounter him in Act I, with the party at as low a level as possible: Raise his approval rating of your highest CHA character to 100%. It'll cost you a pittance - it's 400 GP at level 1, so don't sell your loot but donate it to him until he's at 100%. The higher the party's level, the more expensive this gets, so you definitely want to do this as early as possible. You'll be getting all his stuff from then on at max discount - just gotta remember the discount only applies to the one character who bribed the vendor, not to the entire party. Since Dammon appears in all three acts and will always have great gear for sale, this is a very valuable investment early on that'll last for your entire play-through and you don't have to resort to any Withers-cheeze to do it. Honor mode makes this even more valuable IIRC as some items are insanely expensive in that mode. I'm currently on a Tactician run and with Wyll at 20 CHA, +2 CHA from that silly hat and +1 from Ring of Geniality, I "only" had to pay around 9000 GP for the Armor of Persistence. Then again: There's *so* much gold in Act III, that this is probably more valuable in Acts I and II, but still.. 3:50 I know some folks don't like this kind of quest, but one reason (apart from the reward) to do the Dribbles-quest are the characters' reactions when they are the first ones to pick up a body part. I *highly* recommend Minsc for this as his lines are killer (as they often are.. :) ). Just make sure he's in the active party and that you use him to loot the body-parts.
You can obviously also steal the Spellmight Gloves from them. Btw Empowered Evocation + Spellmight Gloves + Psychic Spark + Magic Missile is definitely something which makes the wizard competitive for single-target damage, which I didn't think possible previously
Magic Missile is my favourite spell in the game. Its so insanely fun but it takes a lot of work for you to put together a combo like what ur describing to make it powerful.
For the portal the order doesn’t matter it’s the placement. They need to be in the right spot and it’s easy to tell as it will glow if it’s in its spot
Great content! FYI for the djinni, you do not need to equip the ring to hit the jackpot yourself. The cut scene is automatic on the next wheel spin after the ring is stolen off the NPC.
With the spinning wheel, I took the ring with Astarion but he kept it. Started the dialog with my main character and she got transported on the win. I didn't do anything other than have the ring removed from the geine guy.
My first time save scumming was to get the statute after everyone cleared off after talking to the clown, in my head cannon my party carry it between camps as I complain my legs are tired
Hey video idea how about a lost of all the time sensitive quests in each act, like waukeen's rest and saving Nere which falls at a long rest or Mols quest to steel the idol which can't be done after you lol the Goblin leaders and obviously the whole Githyanki cresh area. This would be really useful now that most people are on the second or third playthrough
Doesn’t make a difference really but for the Djinni, you don’t actually have to have the ring on who’s playing, I had someone just steal it and had my main guy play and it worked fine
I only got to keep my ghoulies for a few battles because the mirror of loss took away dance macabre when I offered the arcane memory in exchange for my +2 would've been way better if I had just offered my highest attribute to the mirror instead of losing my ghoulies
Im now was about to start the beninng of act 3 and i got have thaugt here a lot of extra content and things that i will regret for miss i came for this video after (spoiler for act 2: saving mizora without wyll and got damn busted on that infernal rapier lost haha) so thanks for the awesome video without spoil anything very usefull
I'm still on my first play through, and I just talk to Gordon Tash I already did the dragon fight I really appreciate not having the spoilers the way you did it in this video. So I'm gonna subscribe just because of that.
The Dancing Breeze at the Rivington General is worth noting due its being a finesse glaive, the only such weapon I'm aware of in the game (not sure there's another finesse 2h at all).
you can dupe weapon from statue you made, just make sure that’s only legendary weapon in your hand or else will dupe just other crap weapon. use command drop on statue in camp
Pritty late now but I had the same problem I thought the clown quest was bugged took me forever but I found out I was missing one of the body parts or the clown u need to have them all in your inventory
Not gonna lie. Act 3 is giving me major burnout of the amount of content it has... DAMN!!! Ive been here 18 hours and still havent explored everything!
Well im only at the beginning of the Circus but if u Cover up all there is to do that would be the first Video I found making it all in one and on top of that u cut the spoiler parts as good as possible gg
All in all great secrets/loot (doing circus for 1st time ever and this is my third playthrough) but you know what was the best part? I can choose camp clothes on my character and not wear ugly as hell helmet from adamantite boss fight. never know this one before, damit :D
I think I bugged some of the content by playing Dark Urge. Certain things in act three just weren’t available cause I either missed certain companions or they left 😭 so definitely be careful if you are playing Dark Urge.
@@rhokulol! I'm guessing it's because of Astarion's high persuasion? I keep forgetting to see if a high charisma character gets discounts too. But, yeah, with Astarion the things _you_ sell are worth more, and the stuff from vendors cost about half as much as normal. Oh! I found a really easy way to steal stuff btw! If you use danse macabre vendors come to where they are to try to "shoo" them away. It's easy as hell to steal anything when the shop keepers are busy starting at your... ghouls. 😂
@@ShevaSmash well an easier way to distract for thievery is to just have someone play an instrument as opposed to raising a horde of the undead. Different strokes for different folks I suppose :p
To get the gloves and not worry about the quest, just get rid of the fake clown then the lady will walk up towards you and away from her tent. Normally you talk to her here. Don;t. Just walk behind her and yoink the gloves from her. Less prying eyes this way
Im just going straight for side quests, mainly because i dont want the game to end for me. I love this game soooooo much. So im trying to squeeze out as much content as possible.
I had an issue with the Dribbles quest where it was saying I still needed a part even though I had them all. If this happens it's most likely because for some reason you have to actually get the hand from the kobald through dialogue. It won't work right now if you just steal it.
Worth mentioning you can steal all the cleric items quite easily as his DEX save is low for a vendor making a +10-15 sleight of hand char *cough Astarion cough* get an easy job

Act 3 is the ADHD persons worst nightmare lol
So true
I remember playing and i joined and i got so overwhelmed i let my party leader do everything while i lagged behind
Yeah, double or triple the amount of npcs. I was like, "Can everyone shut up! there's too many conversations."
It was so overstimulating at first but now I like it because I’m procrastinating on talking to Gortash after I demolished his steel squad.
I keep losing focus of the actual tasks since there's so much going on 😭😭
you found a very good balance between showing what to find where and simultanuously avoiding too many spoilers. well done.

The Dancing Breeze at the Rivington General is worth noting due its being a finesse glaive, the only such weapon I'm aware of in the game (not sure there's another finesse 2h at all).
That's were my bless comes from!?! Never knew, I just wanted to gaze upon my glories self.
3:00 don't forget the hidden ring in the secret area!
What ring?
I can't find it.
@@boethia7367 it’s in the zone with the dinosaurs, it’s incredible
@@Walczyk I mean the ring.
You don't have to steal the ring you can hit the trade option in dialogue and buy the ring from him.
fir the djinn you don t need to equip the ring, just make sure he doesnt have it any more - jackpot will stil happen
you can dupe weapon from statue you made, just make sure that’s only legendary weapon in your hand or else will dupe just other crap weapon. use command drop on statue in camp
Pritty late now but I had the same problem I thought the clown quest was bugged took me forever but I found out I was missing one of the body parts or the clown u need to have them all in your inventory
The kid within the first 5 seconds of the video is a huge part of act 3 lol
Not gonna lie. Act 3 is giving me major burnout of the amount of content it has... DAMN!!! Ive been here 18 hours and still havent explored everything!
U missed a green bow from a missable vendor down by the refugees that give +3 initiative!
You can turn invisible and steal the gloves. Use persuade and get away with it. The roll is only 15 or 16 I think.
4:50 I stole all the good objects from this shop since my character is a rogue Thief
I found 80% of things in act 3 on my first play thru, but in Act 1 I missed the Crèche, and Laezel as a companion 😂😂
Less structured is an understatement lol. I got so confused lol
I missed the house of hope and I could had an ending I wanted. I also skipped the mountain pass, I missed a bit of Lae'thel there...
Appreciate the tips without spoilers. 🤘
Been dipping in and out of this video for over a month as I hit bits
Well im only at the beginning of the Circus but if u Cover up all there is to do that would be the first Video I found making it all in one and on top of that u cut the spoiler parts as good as possible gg
Yo beach episodes r the best! Remember the extra episode of HSOTD? Goat…. Great videos, thanks for the content
At 11:30 you’re showing the wrong portal. That’s the portal to the wizard fight. The one you’re talking about is through the locked door on your left.
You can just pickpocket the woman for the mage gloves it's pretty easy if you're invisible.
Crazy, our main characters look very similar and have similar names, although I went bard.
Great content as always, cheers!
Man.. i have to start a new run again!
Ummm my dude, are you not using Astarion to talk to merchants??? That armor from Dammon was like 6k for me. 😳
Uuuuuuuuuummmmmm..... I am contributing to the economy of Baldur's Gate
Useful tip I didn’t know about that! I was wandering how I was going to afford anything in this game! 😅
@@rhokueasier for _you!_ I kinda, sorta never learned to play any instruments 😖 😂
To get the gloves and not worry about the quest, just get rid of the fake clown then the lady will walk up towards you and away from her tent. Normally you talk to her here. Don;t. Just walk behind her and yoink the gloves from her. Less prying eyes this way
you da man. thanks for this buddy.
love to see your subs go up but keep it up bro
This is my first playthrough and I'm lost in ACT 3.
Strange. I stole it and got through the quest fine.
@@RedShogun13 It may not bug out every time. That's just what happened to me.
Last time I checked it didn't seem like Spellmight Gloves were applying the damage buff to each missle, just once per cast
Big question from the 11:00 mark... how in the hells is your character at level 17‽
8:36 lv11 Cleric/lv5 Bard/lv1 Wizard= lv17 Shadowheart????
Care to explain. Moods?
ya
I feel like you could play through this game 15 different times and get 15 different endings
Honastly can't wait to start my second play though
Wtf you can lighting the lights to break the illusion?! lol. I broke it by standing in it from the other side of the wall.
I somehow bugged Gale, he's only asked me twice for an item that was in act 1. I'm in act 3 now 😆
you are a really cool guy
How do you go to level 17?
Worth mentioning you can steal all the cleric items quite easily as his DEX save is low for a vendor making a +10-15 sleight of hand char *cough Astarion cough* get an easy job
Yes the artist survives the trip if you do not give him the gold.
You can just buy the ring from the djinn during conversion
