UA-cam doesn't have a direct function for messaging creators, but you can use email to do so. Here's how:
Search for the creator or channel using UA-cam's search function
Select a video
Click the username below the video title
Select the About tab
Select View email address
Confirm that you're not a robot
Use the email address to send a message to the channel.
