The best part of this game is how smooth it is. And the fact that the cutscenes are in real-time and not pre-rendered makes it so much better. This also means that when the game is Upscaled, the entire thing looks like it was released a month ago. I confirmed that while the original still had the same English voice acting, the Japanese subtitles are a bit more clear. In Japanese, Parappa says that he got a "kuji" from a "hamburger shop". "Kuji" is short for "kujibiki", which essentially means a lottery for winning items and prizes (although how it works is a bit different in Japan than what it means in the West). A "hamburger shop" is essentially a Japan-ized English term for a fast food restaurant that serves burgers, such as McDonald's.
