Your not cheap, your smart doing it like that. Material is to high to waste. I enjoy watching the shop improvements. It's coming along real nice. We'll continue to pray for you and Nannie and I'll see you on the next one.
How's she goin"? Ronnie you are too nice with your comments and your prayers for Nannie!! Thanks very much for both. Materials sure are expensive. So making the best use of every square inch is being 'frugal' eh!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
The difficulty of cutting out a board should never be underestimated, it is so easy to get it wrong but as always you make it look easy. I really like how you mounted these boards on your own. Great job getting it done and it is good to watch the progress
How's she goin'? Thanks Joseph. I hate to waste wood and so when it comes to marking out where to make a cut, I try and recheck it many times and then the chances for error are lessened. I lucked out this time as the sheet fit pretty good. That doesn't always happen!! LOL Thanks for the comment. Take 'er easy!!
How's she goin'? That's a fact Dave!! I knew the bench was going to be hard to move so cue the ATV!! Even it had a hard time to move it, but it did!! Thanks for the watch. Take care!!
How's she goin'? Thanks Tom. What a lot of work moving stuff from one place to another and then moving it back to try and get some room to work. This is a great time for me to 'purge' maybe eh!! Take 'er easy!!
Bonsoir Mon Ami, You are truly and OUTSTANDING Wood Craftman 👍🧐👌Ho boy, that bench has no chance with you Sir 🧐👍💪 Voila !👍🧐👌No No, I like looking insulation videos mon ami 👌👌👍🧐Cheers 🍻
How's she goin"? Your prayers for Nannie and I are much appreciated. God bless you. It's getting to the point now where I'm hoping for cold weather!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
How's she goin'? Thanks Mike!! The main reason I mentioned the time it's taking is because I'm getting a little tired of just insulating and moving stuff and putting up sheathing. But I think I've turned the corner and I can start to put things back together now!! Thanks a lot for your support and take 'er easy!!
How's she goin'? Thanks Gator. I sure hope so. I'm looking forward to being able to go out to the shop and start working right away rather than having to wait for it to get warm enough!! Take care!!
How's she goin'? Thanks for asking after Nannie Artie!! She is still making progress so that's encouraging eh!! Thanks for your kind words too about this project!! I appreciate it!! Have a great week buddy!!
The cleats that you used to hang the sheets were brilliant. That's wisdom :-) Using the wench to drag your bench; that made me smile. Paint is a great idea. White and bright, I say. Take care.
How's she goin'? Often times I'm asked not to work alone and get some help. But part of the 'fun' of these projects is coming with with ways and ideas to allow me to do things myself. Like these cleats and the clamp to hold the sheet in place. The only hard part was lifting the sheet up on the wall. After it was set in place it was pretty easy going after that!! LOL Paint will certainly make a big difference in the appearance for sure!! Thanks for watching. Take care!!
Being a one band makes me happy when I step back a give some thought to how in the world am I going to finish some projects around my place just like yourself
How's she goin'? I hear ya Jack!! I like to try and come up with jigs and tricks that allow me to do the job single handed and do it safely too. Nannie was worried about me doing this job in the shop alone, but to be honest, it was very safe and I didn't work nearly as hard doing this as I did when I sheathed the camp alone. I was a lot younger then though! LOL Take 'er easy!!
Your doing what you can with what you can, That's what I do too, Looks great paint will brighten it up your going to want your bed out there :) It's going to be warm this winter for sure :) Awesome job Mike those sheets are heavy 👍Take care have a great weekend"
Hello there Don!! Thanks my friend. The shop is already a lot warmer and I find the sound is a lot less echoey, not that it echoed before but the insulation and sheathing are absorbing it more now. Looking forward to the cold weather when I can still get out to the shop and do stuff without having to wear a coat!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
These videos are great Mike, shows nothing is done quick and easy like we all wish it did lol. I like seeing the progression of it all as well. Tip top shop there!! Have a great weekend.
How's she goin'? Thanks Russell. That's a good point about the time it takes to do a project. The real world is not like the Home Improvement shows where it all gets done in a half hour eh!! LOL Take care!!
How's she goin'? When I was trying to think of how to move the bench back from the wall I kept thinking I could pull it with the bike. I knew Nannie wouldn't want me to do that, you know how women are with things like this, so I did it without letting her know. When she saw the video and said, "That was a neat idea to use the bike." So there ya go, just when you think you have them figured out!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
How's she goin'? Ha Ha Ha!! Yep, anytime you can use the ATV for an inside job, that's gotta be good right!! LOL I managed to move the bench, just barely, but now how do I move it back!! LOL Take care and thanks for the visit!!
How's she goin'? Did you like that? I couldn't figure out any other way to move the bench so why not try it! And it worked out good except I moved it too much!! Epic for sure eh!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
Hello there Lloyd!! Well my plan was to have this all done by the end of September. I'm beginning to think this is a government job, because it's way behind schedule and way over budget!! LOL Take care!!
When I measure things for fitting, I have so often cut them backwards and I commend your accuracy in that regard here. Don't get me to lay carpet for an example!! Looking good, Mike. It is really taking shape. I love it when a guy gets his four-wheeler and winch involved in a project. That's called using the "coconut". No need to apologize for all the insulating videos----during my hospitalization after the "Cliff-Hanger" series, they put me on some happy Meds that make everything bright and shiny and happy! HaHaHa (I only have four left and we'll see what happens when their gone) LOL (No, they wouldn't give me any Meds, actually, stating that a man in my advanced condition is beyond help!!) LOL Hello to Nanny and a pat for all the little squirrels!
How's she goin'? Making wrong cuts is no stranger around here!! I try hard to make sure the orientation is right and the measurements are right and that I cut on the proper side of the line so everything fits perfect, but it never does. These cuts fit, but they were a 'little' bigger than they needed to be!! LOL But I won't tell if you don't!! I'm glad to hear you are still on your 'happy' meds and don't worry when you come off them, we'll be here for ya so you'll have a soft landing!! It'll be me and the squirrels to ease you back into the domestic world!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
Hey Mike. I like the different ways you have to hang the sheathing. Some great ideas. It's neat what we come up with when we work by ourselves lol. I always like the challenge of all the measuring and cutting when we hang plywood or even drywall, but drywall can be more forgiving if we make a mistake. Its looking great Mike. Take care

Take 'er easy!!
Good job installing the sheathing Mike. Don't you just love all the cut-outs you have to make, but it's done. You had pretty tight quarters to maneuver in, lol. Working by yourself you need to come up with clever ideas to help out like the cleats and the atv, good stuff. Yup, some paint will brighten up the shop. Have a good one!
How's she goin'? Thanks Paul. When I was trying to figure out how to move the bench I kept thinking of pulling it with the bike. Kind of sketchy but it worked!! LOL Now to get it moved back!! LOL Thanks for supporting the channel buddy!! I appreciate it!! Take 'er easy!!
Good evening Mike, you have quite the shop there. I don't think you are being cheap... what is it they.. waste not, want not👍 The shop is looking good. Hope you and Nannie have a great weekend, Ben 👋😎👍🍻
How's she goin'? Thanks Ben. I guess maybe 'cheap' wasn't the right word. I sure don't want to use more sheathing than I need to so maybe 'frugal' would be a better way to describe me!! LOL Thanks a lot for watching and commenting. I appreciate your support. Take 'er easy!!
That is a big job to do by yourself but it sure feels good when it is done. I like your cleat idea cause it makes it safer and you don't have to rush fitting up the sheet. Looks good Mike. Stevo
How's she goin'? Thanks Steve. I don't mind working by myself and to do so I have to come up with these 'helper' ideas. The cleats are a prime example. Once I lifted the sheet up in place, it was pretty easy after that to position it exactly where I wanted it with the wedges and screw it to the studs!! Have a great week. Take 'er easy!!
That's using yer noggin with that sheating. Makes a fella have an extra hand. You know, the one with the eye on the middle finger all mechanics wish for, LOL. From where I am sitting you have done this more than a time or 4 eh. Well MIKE you're getting there. Pretty soon you can keep the frost off things in the shop. Just a regular 110V ceramic heater in there will make a really big difference. You will feel like you've gone to heaven. No more water running down the walls pooling right where you don't want it. You take care of you and yours old friend and I look forward to see this project come to fruit. It is going to be GREAT EH !
How's she goin'? I have been wanting to insulate the shop since I built it almost 20 years ago Dean. I do have a 'vision' of what I would like it to be, but it'll still be nice no matter how it turns out!! LOL It'll be nice this winter to be able to do projects that don't have to be finished in 2 to 4 hours, since the shop will have heat on 24/7!! Thanks for tuning in. Take 'er easy!!
You are doing a great job and all by yourself. Wish I could help. I sure hope all this work pays off this winter so you can be comfortable working in the shop when you want to.
Hi Mike - that’s going to be a nice warm shop come winter - it’s amazing how handy ATVs can be eh? I dragged out an old refrigerator from a garage once, moved large docks and planters too… all with ATV. Anyway hope you pick a bright shade of white for those walls. Cheers
How's she goin'? Thanks Ed!! Yes sir the ATV is a handy thing to have. We got our 1st bike here at the lake for doing yard work. But of course we played on it some too!! LOL I have a light beige color for the paint Ed. It almost looks pale green but the girl told me it was beige!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
How's she goin'? Thanks Paul. You know I'm kind of looking forward to the cold weather so I can go to the shop and take my jacket off!! LOL Take care and thanks for dropping by!!
Hey Mike I enjoy watching your videos no matter what they are about, you always have good entertainment and interesting topics, not sure though about watching paint dry I may have a nap watching that one, lol. Hope yourself and Nannie are doing fine.
Hello there Wayne!! Thanks buddy!! You are too kind!! I would like to have more variety on the channel, but the last while I only get about 2 hours a day to work in the shop and so this insulation project is taking all my time!!! Wonderful job! That would surely have put my back out at least until Christmas! lol Enjoy the weekend. Think too there are cooler temperatures on their way!
How's she goin'? My back let's me know too when I try and do too much!! It's a fine line we have to walk eh! The colder weather is on the doorstep and I hope the shop will be toasty this winter!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
How's she goin'? Thanks Jason!! It's getting better each day. I was out today working on getting the bench back in place. That was a chore and a half!! LOL Take 'er easy!!

How's she goin'? Thanks! It's slow progress but time is one thing I seem to have a lot of!! Patience now, well I could use a lot more of that!! LOL Take 'er easy!!
Well look at you go. I am very impressed with what you can do i mean for a young guy like you. Lol ! I like watching videos when you are using wood & building things...i never get tired watching them. I find them so fascinating cause you are very talented & i always wonder what your next job will be. I anything but i like watching you do it. Just out of curiosity did Dad finish our basement & did you help or did he hire someone to do it. I saw Dad in his work clothes a lot but i was just wondering cause he did like to supervise as Mom would say hahaha! Ok, keep up the good work & i will see you next time lol Love ya
Us you kids are full of P and V and have no trouble doing work like this!! LOL And if you believe that maybe I can sell you some tickets to the Stanley Cup parade for the Maple Leafs!! LOL You know Dad did most of the finishing in the basement. I helped, or got in his way, a little and of course Mom would be there to help and provide moral support. Love ya!!!
How's she goin'? I figured if I didn't put the screws to that sheathing it would fall off the wall and then I'd be screwed!! LOL The CanAm sure had a tug going on to move the bench. A lot of gravity in it I think! LOL Take 'er easy!!
How's she goin'? Well Bruce the stiff and achy part has happened so when can I expect the big muscles to show up!! LOL Thanks for tuning in. Have a great weekend!!
How's she goin'? Thanks Vernon. These 1/2" sheets of OSB are a lot heavier than they used to be 20 years ago eh! LOL Glad I used the cleats to hold the sheet once I had it in place. Thanks for watching. Take 'er easy!!

Hi Mike 👋, you done really well doing that yourself. It's heavy work lifting them sheets good on you 👍
How's she goin'? You know what Nev? These sheets are a lot heavier now than they used to be 10 years ago!! LOL Glad the job is finished. It's starting to come together!! Take 'er easy!!
Great video Mike, you sure worked clever on this installation

Making good progress! I cant get rock wool insulation around here for some reason??? You'er going to have a nice warm winter. Cheers!
It is worth the drive to find it. Sure makes it a lot easier to get it up into place with little to no itching.
How's she goin'? Thanks a lot! You know I'm looking forward to the cold weather again so I can get out to the shop and work on projects without having to wear a heavy coat!! LOL Strange you can't get Rock Wool. Around here even Home Depot has it for sale. Interesting eh!! Take 'er easy!!
Hey there Dean!! Yes buddy it sure is nicer to work with and it repels moisture and the critters don't like it!!!
You are gettin her Mike.........
Love ya!!!
Ya really put the screws to this project. I think it looks great, great install. Now, there are more spots to hang stuff. That bench must weigh a ton?
How's she goin'? I figured if I didn't put the screws to that sheathing it would fall off the wall and then I'd be screwed!! LOL The CanAm sure had a tug going on to move the bench. A lot of gravity in it I think! LOL Take 'er easy!!
You're gonna get big muscles lugging around those 1/2' sheets. Probably gonna be stiff and achy first though
How's she goin'? Well Bruce the stiff and achy part has happened so when can I expect the big muscles to show up!! LOL Thanks for tuning in. Have a great weekend!!
it's looking good, but that is heavy work.
How's she goin'? Thanks Vernon. These 1/2" sheets of OSB are a lot heavier than they used to be 20 years ago eh! LOL Glad I used the cleats to hold the sheet once I had it in place. Thanks for watching. Take 'er easy!!
