In a shared vault, can both parties add logins? Proton still has a lot of work to do on this. Autofill often doesn't work. Login fields are sometimes not recognized at all. Autofill from 2FA is often not offered. Saving logins is often not offered and there is no manual option. The menus are sometimes not well structured. Password generator is listed under password. I can't understand the positive comments. And most importantly, there is no separate password for Pass.
Hi, and thanks for your feedback! To address your initial question, yes, in a shared vault, both parties can add logins as long as the appropriate permissions are granted by the person sharing the vault. While Proton Pass generally works well with most websites we tested, there may still be occasional compatibility issues. In such cases, we recommend reporting them to Proton's support as they value user feedback. The same goes for cases where the option to save logins isn't visible. This might happen due to how the site interacts with the autofill tool. We're sad to learn that you find Proton Pass’s menus unorganized. Although this wasn't our experience, we know that usability varies from user to user. It's also true that users don't need a separate password for the app, which might be concerning for some. However, Proton Pass supports 2FA, which we highly recommend to enhance security. If you didn't find Proton Pass to suit your needs, we recommend checking out our best password managers video to find a different solution -> ua-cam.com/video/Kc-JF8Bw4c0/v-deo.html Have a great day!
@@BestReviewsNet Thank you for your answer. I have tested Proton Pass. On many pages, saving is not suggested. Manual saving is not available in the menu either. The fact that there is no password is the biggest drawback. The suggestion was made and Proton simply added an additional password. That was never what the customers wanted. Since I don't really believe that Proton listens to its customers, I prefer to stay away from it.
@@blaaxz Thanks for the further feedback :) That's the good thing about a market that has so many providers - you can always find one that fits your needs!
