- One of the best sounds school-aged kids hear is when the last bell in the last class rings signaling the school is out for summer. In the words of Alice Cooper, “Out for summer. Out til’ fall. We might not get back at all.”
Today I would like to visit one such school. Where school was let out for summer and never returned. The once busy school halls and classrooms are deserted and desolate. At one time these halls were filled with laughter, the playground filled with joy, and the gymnasium roared with cheers.

Good vid. It sucks seeing schools abandoned. I also think the school system needs a big overhaul all schools need better lunch, should feel less like prison, etc. When the student goes to school they should have a feeling of enjoyment not a feeling that It feels like prison.
I'm guessing it closed in 2002. When did it get abandoned?

Good morning Doug 🙂, it's crazy how many of these schools become abandoned there, it's like wasted space that so much creativity could be obtained, there is to many possibilities for these places, anything is better then seeing it fall away into disregarded memory, What about a community building still but where they can grow gardens and Create Art maybe a place where volunteers who actually care about the needs of the community can come together and teach young and old good values I can't really think as I don't know your country well enough or what is needed mostly..I just know personally since leaving wifi behind and leaving the city for rural life I've refound myself and allowed myself to be more creative minded again..Much love to you and the fam mate..have have an amazing rest of your week/weekend
I couldn't agree more, this waste shouldn't be. There are several good uses for these structures. In fact; in an upcoming video, I intend to show a couple examples of what these structures could become. Getting out to the country for a while is one of the best ways to clear your head.
