This was a really interesting place to explore. I love old places like this. Check me out on Instagram and Twitter, just search for NOLADEEJ. Thanks for watching!
@@NOLADEEJ Yeah it's disappointing they haven't rebuild it. Kids have to go to New Orleans or Hammond now if they want to go take a trade. It was really convenient for alot people in the community when it was open.
It really is. Isn’t there a cemetery right across the street from the school? Or a little bit down the road from the school? I don’t go to that side of town too often so I don’t remember exactly. I know it used to be super creepy at night though.
Great exploration! It must have been so nice in it's day! That "eye" picture is the symbol for the illuminati . Bad stuff. I doubt if whoever drew it knew what it meant. You are brave! I would be scared to death going down those halls and up those stairs! Great vlog Deej!
me and 4 or 5 of my friends explored here 3 or 4 times and the last time was the scariest. i was with 5 of my friends and we went here for the last time in early june, around 2-3am and it was my 3rd time being there. we were chilling walking around and when we were in the “garage” area we saw 2 cops pull up, one went towards the front entrance and the other cop pulled into the gate right next to the parking lot. luckily we parked down the road at a dead end street to the left of the college. we saw the cop turn around and drive towards the front and when we first saw the car we ran more inward in the college and saw flashlights so we ran back to the garage area and both cops were at the front now so 5 of us made a run for it and one person was left behind. we waited at our vehicles for 20 mins and finally our last friend made it to us. we waited at your vehicles for almost an hour constantly seeing flashlights and hearing the cops yelling. we all agreed that the faster runner go to the end of the street and check to see where the cops were and he called us saying we have a window. so we hopped in our cars and quietly drove with our lights off, picked our friend up at the end of the street, went left and drove all the way around the pond behind the college and finally made it to front street/pontcatrain. it was my most scariest memory i’ve ever had exploring anything.
exploring it at night is VERY sketchy, homeless people hide out there, cops post up there, drug deals, rape, and even murder has taken place in this college at night since it was abandoned.

When I get home I'mma watch this!
Checked out DK's channel, he has good stuff, thanks for posting his link❣️👍😊
I live in Slidell and went to that Technical College in 1996
i enjoy your video
And that just about sums up Louisiana’s educational system.
Teresa Vidrine sadly it does
I attended class there between 1989 and 1991 in automotive repair. The school closed right after hurricane Katrina hit in 2005.
From what I could gather from an (admittedly poor) Google search is that it became part of Delgado but they shut that campus down in 2016.
Me and my friends come here to play airsoft
Nice exploration!
Thank you!
Well I just found where me and the boys will be playing Airsoft now, thanks!
Hah!
NOLADEEJ ya we don’t rly have Airsoft fields here in Slidell so this would be a really cool place and I drive by it almost everyday to go to school
Cool vlog. Must have been creepy walking around there.
It was, but it was fun! :)
It closed in 2005 , hurricane Katrina shut it down
Yeah it's unfortunate

Yea I live in Slidell. It flooded during Katrina and never reopened.
@@cecebeau1535 I went to that Votech. It's a shame they haven't rebuild it.

Yeah we heard the place was pretty monitored.. we got permission to go in there, though ;)
Cool 📹 sad the tech school never reopened.
Hey, this is great video!
Another great video Deej! Love the urban exploring of local places.
Thank you! Me too :)
It was interesting for sure❣️Thanks for all your efforts on putting these out👍📽️
I have been there
My mom used to go here too when she was in high school as well.
Oh that's cool!
It'd be cool to explore this at night! Great vlog 😉☺
