out of all the videos about living in a car this one is the one that just gives you the basics not all that extra stuff that make the process so overwhelming. just the basics no clutter.
My gf and I broke up. Really really rough break up. Now I’m living in my car and I owe her money for the last month of rent and the $1,400 to end the lease early. I was out of work when this went down but now I’m gonna be getting paid good at a warehouse with 24 hour parking. I honestly might just keep doing this as long as I can. $1,200 a year for car insurance beats $1,200 a month for an apartment.
Oh dude, that is a rough situation, and it sounds pretty sudden! Congratulations on the job though! It sounds like you can make things work while you figure everything out. Best wishes to you! You got this!

Going to college next year and the living costs are very expensive (rent is like 1500k a month for a studio), I have no choice but to live in my car for the next 2/3years
Do what you can to find the housing group on Facebook for your school. You can make a post to vanboard in someone’s driveway or side yard preferably so you can have the plumbing and food storage of a home and sleep in your car for $150-300 a month. I’m at UCSB and tons of students do that. Everyone’s driveways are full lol
Your video helped me out a lot thank you!!! I’ve been uncomfortable sleeping cause I’m 6”1 but once I folded my back seats it became heaven thank you 😊😊

You have such a lovely personality. Made me feel ready to start living in my car. I'm doing it by choice but kinda forced at the same time. I live with my family still but am 22 years old. I see this as a great temporary solution to get out of debt and save for a motor home. I hang canvas bags over the front seat headrests and another one in between them.
Thank you, great video. I have decided to give notice where I'm living and to live in my car so this was really helpful. I stayed in my car last weekend after being fed up with having to drive back to the same location every day lol. My work is moving and I'll have to move closer but the rent is unaffordable even to live with others which I can't do because I'm so allergic to fragrances and chemicals and are common in every house. So after realizing that I can live by myself, save for a larger vehicle, be close to work, and wake up wherever I want, it's all I can think about!
