Hey bro, you’ve been doing a LOT of driving, make sure you check your oil or possible get an oil change if it’s been 3-4k miles since you started owning the car. Checking your oil use to be common knowledge but you’ll be surprised how many people ceased their engines from neglecting maintenance when I was in tech school.
I did this for three years in my brand new Jeep that I bought for cash back in 2019... specifically for this kind of adventure. PF Black Card membership was definitely a must, along with one of those portable car battery chargers. ( NOCO BOOST PLUS) Having a lot of cash in savings kept me from worrying. I cried a couple of times to myself, because I was down on myself for not doing this years ago! The sense of Freedom that I gained, and the extra appreciation for the different beautiful natural landscapes that this country has to offer was so freaking amazing!!!

just a suggestion get a storage place and you can get rid of all that stuff and be way more stealthy, just keep daily-3-4days worth of things in your car nothing more just visit your storage often to restock on things

Buy yourself an electric blanket from Target, very low power consumption, and can plug into your Jackery. Auto Zone sells the 12 volt ones for the cigarette lighter. I love mine!

AHHH, FINALY! I've watched so many no build setups and EVERY SINGLE PERSON has everything open to the world. I don't want to camp in my vehicle; but in case i get stranded or stuck somewhere, not being able to get home (I live in the boonies), I want to maneuver INSIDE my vehicle without needing to step out of it. Aside from showing everyone what you have, its safer just to stay inside. THANK YOU for showing that it can be done.

I think what you're doing is great. I'm 57 and own a 1,400 sf home that is way too big for my needs. For some reason, I spend a lot of time watching vanlife and car camping videos. If I were younger and had good sense, I would be doing what you're doing just to get to know myself, develop skills and confidence, and have the adventure. For now, I plan for my next vehicle purchase to be one I can live in while taking road trips.

Very nice setup good use of space. That being said I'm 6'2 220lbs so I have a set up in my F150 but I don't full time I just stealth camp and travel with my dog.

Re-using towels or not re-using towels not that big a deal. You just do you! I am more interested in your car set up as are most people. Your set up looks decent. Clean and the best thing you chose a lifestyle that suits you! You pick where you want your base to be. It is Fantastic.

sleeping in your car is a genius way of roadtripping and seeing great locations, instead of buying a hotel or finding a campsite for a tent, you hop right in the back. Also a great place to stealth camp in your car is hotel parking lots. Camped out at a Hilton and i saw 2 police officers parked taking their 15 minute break around 100 yards from me. they had no idea i was there

You can still save money, live in your favorite city and be working on everything else like writing. Just because you had to move out of the other apartment doesnt mean you have to be homeless, you still make a decent amount per month with youtube, there are other options

I came across your video and I do have a question so I am living an SUV life with a dog and I wanna know some good places to rest overnight without any issues I recently had an issue with Lowe's they saw me in the parking lot literally announced on the intercom also using a siren and calling out my vehicle telling me that it is closed and that I need to leave the premises or they will call the police. I was just getting out my car fixing some thing on the window so what other free areas I am in New Orleans Louisiana that you can rest overnight without dealing with cops, foolishness like that?

Yeah from what I've seen California is pretty unfriendly to people sleeping in their cars. The Northeast isn't too bad I didn't realize this was an issue. But it seems some states make choosing to sleep in your car an issue.
