Yea but we need the good and the bad both, not just the sunshine in life but i get your point. Just dont forget that in order to have positive experiences u need to face fears along the way first ^
The rate at which you produce your videos is really impressive. Such quality footage and writing, and to think you’re putting these out like every week is amazing. Good job👍🏼

It only feels what way if you are not living a life you choose to and on purpose and it is to be a good service and be healthy and feel great. I coach in spiritualism.
Love this, and have been needing this lately! Feels like time moves SO fast lately. Another two things that have helped me a lot are waking up before the sunrise 🌅 , and meditating for at least 10 minutes each morning! 🧘🏽♂️ I don’t do both every morning, but when I do I feel like the day lasts SIGNIFICANTLY longer! 😌🤙🏽
What a very interesting video. Sometimes in my country, we make fun by saying that if you say that "time has passed so fast", it means you are an old person, so now I can understand why.
Great video Matt, I would add that you should try to cut out screens, electronics, or websites like Instagram, reddit, UA-cam, etc. (I call them ADD websites). From my own personal experience, I've noticed that these tend to get my brain "wired" and I may get absorbed in them for hours without even realizing it. Letting yourself be "bored" without these mental stimulates really does make time feel like it's moving slower and frees up your day add in healthier habits like going to the gym or going for a hike.
The pandemic only made this worse. Every day feels the same like a big blur. I probably never would’ve thought novelty, but as soon as you said the word, it was so obvious. I barely have any memories of waking up every day and working in bed during the pandemic like when we had those milestones and novel experiences growing up. Time really started to fly once college was over for me, and turning 30 during the pandemic just made it even tougher. I finally did make the move to go back to grad school this year and start a different career though, and with face to face class and moving to a large city in the next few weeks looming, I’m really hoping that helps me get out of the pandemic rut of never leaving the house whether it be for work or zoom class. I’ve always said you can’t live to work but you can’t just live to be totally monotonous either. Hopefully a lot of people heed this advice
this is so cool, thank you :) my favourite Russian youtuber Ruslan Usachev talked about it not so long ago in his interview he made the same example with a vacation which seems long to the person experiencing it and short to the coworkers who continued working in this period of time his solutions was travel more, but it's not easy now
Love the idea of how trying new things helps time pass more slowly since you’re forced to concentrate more in the moment than when you are on autopilot going through your regular habits
Not sure about number 3, for the last few years Ive kept myself super busy always achieving, living deadline to deadline, project to project and it feels like it accelerated time too much. I am actually thinking about slowing down and trying to change that overachieving mindset.
*If you want to slow down your life you have got to incorporate more novel experiences in your life* Will have and will it not be so much busy for me? *Meet new people* *Have a inspiring experiences* * 7:13 Make progress towards your goals*

The rate at which you produce your videos is really impressive. Such quality footage and writing, and to think you’re putting these out like every week is amazing. Good job👍🏼
Love this Matt! Great insight and valuable information about how to slow things down. Thanks!
The fact that Matt knew exactly what I was thinking today is scary
This video is absolutely amazing!! So concisely make all your points and it is is informative. I love all your videos and they have really helped me! Thank youuu 😄
It only feels what way if you are not living a life you choose to and on purpose and it is to be a good service and be healthy and feel great. I coach in spiritualism.
Wow, sometimes these videos come up and I know the algorithm is on my side. Needed this today!
Agreed. But I don't know why waking before the sunrise works
@@shaunting335 dude you woke up early there are extra hours in the day lol
Your perception of time, is such a key to happiness. Keeping things spontaneous and creating new experiences is the way to go :)
...not the video I wanted, but now it feels like it was a video that I needed. Tnx, greetings from Slovenia.
Thank for this video, Matt! Worth to watch for everyone. Much respect from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 🤗 ❤ 💙
Most relatable guy on UA-cam.
This is one of those videos I must watch every now and than! I can't decide how long from now though 🤔
2 years as I watch this in 2024 😁
What a very interesting video. Sometimes in my country, we make fun by saying that if you say that "time has passed so fast", it means you are an old person, so now I can understand why.
*"I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination." - Jimmy Dean*
This is why it's the greatest time in human history to be alive, we get to live longer than ever before! Let's make the most of it
Great video Matt, I would add that you should try to cut out screens, electronics, or websites like Instagram, reddit, UA-cam, etc.
Matt you are a gem!

Easy answer. It feels like it's flying by because it IS!
That evil laugh ,gets me every time 👀

Bob Vance Refrigeratation!!!!! Hahaha awesome
Did anyone else notice that?
This video came at the perfect time. I felt like time was breezing by but this definitely reminds me to mix up the routines pronto!!
this is so cool, thank you :) my favourite Russian youtuber Ruslan Usachev talked about it not so long ago in his interview
he made the same example with a vacation which seems long to the person experiencing it and short to the coworkers who continued working in this period of time
his solutions was travel more, but it's not easy now
Love the idea of how trying new things helps time pass more slowly since you’re forced to concentrate more in the moment than when you are on autopilot going through your regular habits
The fact that i got the bob vance refrigeration reference tells me I've watched "The Office" a lot
this is by far one of my favorite videos from, resonates so much and filled with jokes, plus the story and cinematography is just amazing!
Хорошие советы! Люблю ваши видео. Спасибо большое! ❤️❤️❤️
Good advice. I've taken it on my pencil and will try to put it into practice.
Not sure about number 3, for the last few years Ive kept myself super busy always achieving, living deadline to deadline, project to project and it feels like it accelerated time too much. I am actually thinking about slowing down and trying to change that overachieving mindset.
I love your humor, Matt! Love the direction you're heading to!
*If you want to slow down your life you have got to incorporate more novel experiences in your life*
Will have and will it not be so much busy for me?
*Meet new people*
*Have a inspiring experiences*

"bob vance vance refrigeration" lol, it's in the details 😂
This reminds me of the self help book Off the Clock by Laura Vanderkam. You can’t change time, but you can change your perception of it. 👏
