At 73 everyday I always remind myself "Go slow to go fast" "Breathe deep, lazer focus. I cant believe how much my daily game of "Accomplish" works so well applying this principle Great video glad I am not alone here
I have been traveling between two cities to work, 14hours per day for ten years, then pandemic came, I finally got to work from home, then when the pandemic is over, I didn't want to have that life anymore. I now trying to heal and living my life slowly, trying to create slow living videos here on UA-cam so that I can have the lifestyle for the rest of my life. Finally have time for my family, for home made meals and gardening.
Rule 2. Make essential choices in a simple attainable measurable and progressive language and manner that, fits your ability, passions and peace of mind.
This video has been saved on my life and self development playlist and will be heard at least once a week. Thank you for putting together such important, beautiful and meaningful philosophies in one video!
This is one of the most beautiful content I've found on UA-cam. It is full of wisdom, very timely and relevant, and your voice is so calming. Good job! I only wish there's a script somewhere I could read or better yet write a mini ebook.
Thank you for the sarcastic reply. I don't know why some people always choose to spoil other people's day with negativity. Have you not learned anything from what you watched? Sure I won't mind paying for this beautiful piece if it's turned into an ebook. Have a good day.
I must slightly disagree with one claim here. In regard to “Amor Fati”; Joy affects us, but sorrow, particularly from loss, changes us. Joy is fleeting, loss is permanent. Once you lose someone you’ve bonded with, you may be able to accept it, but you will never “get over it” and you will never be the same. You just learn to now live, always, with this new aspect of your existence.
Rushing is another form of going nowhere. I got that from the workbook on amz called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels. In a weird way, we actually get more done and with more clarity and purpose, when we deliberately go slower.
Hi there, still trying to get there. I suffer with anxiety and C-Ptsd. I have been on my decluttering journey for a few years now and has helped me loads! Very interested about the book you mentioned in your comment. Thks
Thank you so much for creating and sharing this content. I gained more here in watching and listening to this video. It truly was transforming. A masterpiece!
Lots of wisdom here and beautifully put together. Refreshing to hear a human (your) voice, when AI voiceovers are becoming more and more common! Keep up the good work! Thank you.
I've been reading this every day. I have a very slow life, dissatisfied but at 70... life here is not for the old. Accepting impermanence. Hopefully soon it will be my turn to go never to return, as Frida said. Thank you.🎉
Mindfulness was a huge help. Just doing a little each day, more clarity to make better decisions. I like the workbook called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels, and the Tao Te Ching.
In the fable of the tortoise and the hare . The slow thoughtful tortoise won. Fast food in Italy ! Isnt that a sin? Well it should be . Think of it a Mac burger compared to a thought about slowly prepared Canneloni with a side salad . See what I mean . Slow living is also simple living . The Stoics say . "Live simply so others can simply live." I try my best to do this .
And what is at the heart of the Present? I hear that beautiful, loving, selfless God, the Self in all our selves, is the Reality in the Center of the Present, is the present. I have 'heard' this from Meher Baba.
The drawings are ON A DIFFERENT LEVEL 🩵 the presentation is very insightful and it is comforting to know that there are people like me who want to slow down more, it's not obvious, not at all
I can’t find the audiobook. Maybe this post is the full audiobook. I can’t see credit given to the author. I am enjoying this very much. I am a slow liver already. It’s just validating. TY
Try to find a creative endeavor you enjoy, try to just work part time or you won't have enough time, this means giving up things and stuff, Im in a transitional phase, i still haven't started my creative stuff, need tools lol

Extremely calming and lovely. And I miss seeing all the people from around the world of all colors, sizes, shapes and ages; and half the world, maybe more, is women and the video showing only a secondary, scant appearance of a women, and the focusing character a young, white male, something to be mindful of, too.
