Love how he tossed the Stormtrooper off the speeder into a Tie fighter using the Force. The ease at which he does shows he has grown a lot in 5 years

@@Jurez1313 it was announced that you keep all the abilities from the first game, including unlocked combos. You will obvs unlock at lot more with the new lightsaber types. BD-1 keeps all his skills too
I love when Star Wars games pull elements of past eras into the present one. It’s like revisiting all those amazing games from 15-20 years ago that we grew up with, even if it’s not the exact same.

Just the clone wars era stuff alone feels great but now if they ether in base game or did a story dlc which I got slight doubts on for some kotor era content as references in survivor it would make my day cause that era had alot of cool jedi and sith like the main poster boy revan for example

How long it take to beat
What a fantastic campaign. Wow. Right up there in my opinion with the best Respawn has ever done, including Titanfall, and a way bigger budget presentation. Borderline Naughty Dog levels of character animation in cutscenes. Not quiiiite as good, but the directing, editing, and pacing of the story was clearly done by someone who knows what they’re doing.

The best part in jedi fallen order was when Cal met Merrin and they teamed up to beat Malicos. Great to see them working together in jedi survivor.
From what I hear you can choose who adventures with you, so Cal and Merrin are going out to bust some heads on my play through.

He actually carries the whole rebelion. Ahsoka is probably in the temple, Ezra either is a padawan, but more likely neat Trawne. And THIS guy is a champ. The only living jedi master that is fully carrying the whole order on his arms. This knight he fights is probably a jedi, Merrin is studying force, Cere is probably a master too. I know start to understand, why Kenobi and Yoda stayed in the dark - they had the whole new jedi order living and fighting and saving the galaxy, and the fact that the whole trailer is Cal OBLITERATING empire tells me that there will probably be a rematch with vader, ha, I think he deserves his own arc as the strongest jedi during the period. And the fact that he has a whole story and an actual growth, and his place as Empire's most wanted, not even being connected to Skywalker, is deserved. It's wow.

First thing I noticed besides how amazing the game looks is it seems like they finally added a little dismemberment when fighting Stormtroopers at 0:35. A small detail added in but also a huge deal at the same time as that is how the physics of a lightsaber works. Cannot be more stoked for this game!

The physics of a lightsaber works in whatever capacity the person in charge deems fit. We've had multiple moments in older games, and Legends content where a lightsaber didn't just slice through someone. A good example of how inconsistent they are for cutting through stuff too is TPM. When they're cutting through the door they're doing it slowly, and look like they're concentrating. I guarantee that a Force-user has to focus the lightsaber to a degree for it to actually fully slice through something half the time. Whether this is done consciously or unconsciously doesn't really matter.
@@1meme985 I think they look focused on TPM because the door was thick enough to resist the heat to some degree so they had to actually apply force (ba dum tss). Compared to usually they really only need to guide the saber through with minimal effort

I REALLY like that they're not showing us the blaster stance at all, on one hand I want to see it, on the other I want to experience it for the first time totally blind, will make it even more badass.

I think as the hype is now it will and i hope it will be a succses like elden ring or hogwarts legacy and give EA and other developers more faith in star wars games.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is the best Star Wars Jedi game ever i love it every single time i play it I’m doing the game again 😊
That first line hits me so hard for some reason. The fact that most Padawans were just children and yet they were still drafted into a war in heartbreaking by itself, but then there's the fact that some of these kids grew up with the Clones as their brothers and their Masters as their parental figures. And then they saw their Masters being killed by the ones they once thought to be their brothers in the blink of an eye. Cal, Ahsoka, and Kanan are just a few who saw this happen. They were the ones who survived the Clone Wars but were hunted by the Empire. In the end, Ahsoka survived, Kanan died for his family, and while the fate of Cal is still something we haven't seen yet, I can only imagine how many more people he cares about will die infront of him.
Don't forget obi wan and Yoda plus in this time period of the empire how come clones are not mentioned or is everything in clone wars just history

And also, that isn't strictly from the launch trailer, it's actually Cere's theme, and is the same as the song she wrote on her guitar thing (I don't know how to spell what it's actually called) and is used quite often throughout the first game. But yes we did first hear it in the launch trailer. I spent way too long trying to recreate that lol

@@Protitoiy I find it hard to believe that someone that has played games before would find this game good, let alone "amazing". It might be slightly better than the Disney+ shows, but that's not really a high bar.
The movies might be less egregious just because a ticket is 1/4 the price of a game and you're only wasting 2 hours instead of 10.
The highest praise the game might have deserved was "best Star Wars game in the past decade" because EA did nothing with the license for 10 years.
THIS is what we need in matter of SW games. Respect to you Respawn, for boldly trying to bring back Singleplayer Story and doing it so damn well! Can't wait to play this!

For multiplayer we need a game like Jedi Academy with refined gameplay mechanics.

Titanfall 2 is the single best FPS single-player campaign I have ever played. Absolutely doesn't get enough love. That chapter with the time shifting was out of this world.

I'm loving how the Gen'dai is clearly going to be of a similar type of threat as Durge was in Tartakovsky's Clone Wars. You can see the exposed fiber clusters under his armor in shots of the fight with him in this trailer! I'm super stoked!

I love how they still haven't shown any specific details about the story, makes me think some awesome stuff is going to happen
It’s kinda like Gow Ragnarök in a way, they didn’t show much of the story so the community came together and galled over the big moments. Idk if this game will be as good as Ragnarök but I hope it has a similar effect

I love how this is the final trailer. They're so confident. They're like, hey, you know if you want this. And if you do, buy it and experience it. They aren't trying to force it. I have so much hope for this game. I'm so broke at the moment so I doubt I'll be able to get the pre-order bonuses but I'm so excited to play this when I can. Looks really great!

@@Mexirican017 Well most games have a million ‘mini’ trailers/teasers leading into the week of. This is only the 4th and still leaves mystery thankfully.
So confident they show almost no actual gameplay in a “gameplay trailer”. This is almost entirely made up of cutscenes and choreographed attacks from pressing a button
@@hogwash1146 First gameplay trailer was filled with stuttering, they disabled ai, hitstop like at 0:20 of this one.
The first game ran terribly, and played considerably worse than it looked. A standing 1 locked in animation for nearly a second post attack. Just style over functionality and substance. Then again, it can't be much worse than that game.

Yes. The people who played the game say there is more dismemberment than you would think too.
Like, almost every trooper has a limb go flying. So it's definitely there.
Brooooo the tendrils on that Gen’Dai at 1:36‼️‼️. I wonder if he’s gonna go full Durge 2002 tentacle monster in this, that would make an amazing boss fight. With Durge being recannonized not too long ago, it’d be sick to get confirmation his species functions similarly or the same as they did in legends 🔥🔥🔥🔥
