Cutting Small Trees with a Reciprocating Saw

Welcome back! Growing up, I've seen reciprocating saw used in home construction and renovation. But I thought about whether a reciprocating saw could be a viable option to cut trees and branches. It would seem to be a lot easier than to use a handsaw or pruning saw for branches. But could it be used in place of an ax or chainsaw? I believe it can be a better option for small trees. Less power is needed than an ax and is more accurate. You also don't need to use oil or gas, which you would need for a chainsaw. In this video, there is one situation on my property where a reciprocating is actually preferable than an ax or chainsaw. The reciprocating saw I am using a DeWalt DC385, 18V.
