for the light at 8:35 i find its easier to get in the tube if you cut the tube into 2 bits and from there you can put each end of the light onto the tube
I think you've mistaken blood knot for the clinch knot. Blood knot is a totally different knot, it's a bit more complicated than the clinch knot. For me I use either Palomar or improved clinch knot. Nice video though, I learned something today.
I’ve used bling rigs for tailor or as you’d call them bluefish in jersey but never used them for squid which is a lot smarter to use it for, bout to go to Busselton for a squid and salmon trip fingers crossed to bling setup goes well
Something i like to do when using your " bling rig" is to cut the plastic tube in half that you attach the glow stick to your rig with. Thread them both on as per normal. Attach a piece to both ends of the glow stick. This makes the rig a little more aerodynamic for when you need to cast further. Great video again mate 👍
Where I’m fishing for squid usually is rough ground. I also use braid on my mainline and then mono on the rig /leader line. I fish at night mostly also so the thickness off the line doesn’t matter to the squid. Hope this helps
What an horrible knot, at least do a uni to uni knot if you can't manage a fg one, it's super easy and can still go through the eyes of the rod. Other than that great vid tutorial! 👌
watched the first and now this - great tutorials
thanks hope your catching them all now :)
I believe this is the best watched vid for squid tackle. Thx..
Thanks bud 🦑♥️

How many meter you have on your reel (what reel size you use?) when you use 25-50 lb monoline? Isn't it a bit to strong?

Got it thank you. Braided as mainline and stronger jig line to possibly get the lure out of stones or rubble, makes sense to me now.
Thanks for the great info. For the braid main line, usually how much pound size is recommended?
What kind of jigs are these ?
These are a mix of DTD, yo zuri and other cheaper makes like Berkeley and copies
We’re do you squid at in Tasmania at st helens
The jetty! Had plenty there but also off the rocks on the south side of the island they are everywhere
my bro hwo much price send to this jigs 2 pecs

Can someone just sell me a pre made squid float rig. I can’t find them anywhere
I build mine myself. Easy to build bud and all the components needed are in the info below on the video. 🦑❤️👀
ofc the 2 first rigs are for non-egi rods
We don’t use egi rods here. We use a spinning rod ready for all 3 rigs. Better to be able to mix it up eh
@@BeneathTheWavesFishingJersey i actually never thought of using the spinning rod for that , i might set it up for today and give it a try
@@craven1749 yeh man. No need for a egi rod. Just use a first action spinning rod.
