GT 350 owner since May 2016. 11k miles, 9k on track. I have a Porsche 911 and track with Porsche Club...they are all jealous of the uniqueness the performance and price of the 350. Will be very hard for me to get rid of this car. Thanks for always providing the best insights for GT350 owners and car enthusiasts!

Great video. Thanks for making all the 350 content. I own a 2018 and have absolutely loved every moment driving it. I have taken it to 2 track days and have 19k miles now. I always get the itch for more cars, but I don’t think I could ever convince myself to sell this thing. I just need to make more money :)

July 2017 I found a dealer that had a GT350R ruby red on order. It took two years for me to finally make the decision to write the 73k check, The most for any car I have owned. That was 5k over stick and state tax and tag. The car is been more than I expected and I wouldnt sell it unless someone crazy enough offered over 150k. I know that sounds absurd but I am so attached to it.

I bought my 2017 GT350 two years ago for well under 50k. I’ve loved every moment behind the wheel and have no plans to sell. A non track pack 2016 in the same color with the same mileage just sold very close to me for 55k. I’ve also had opportunities even last year to get my money back, but at the end of the day, there’s nothing remotely close in price that would scratch the same itch. Even with a small family, it’s practical enough to throw luggage in the back and go on a weekend trip.

I bought my race red 2019 GT 350 in January 2021, with 2200 miles on it, they were asking $63,000, I talked them down to $56,000. It was the best decision I have ever made, I traded my 2018 Mustang GT, which I loved, because I had built her, she had digital dash, magneride, Performance Pack 1, she was a beast, but the 350 is just amazing! My husband has a 2017 GT350, so mine will sit and be pretty and his is the one we will drive more! Mine will be worth more one day, the color combo, low miles and the upgrades. I am just grateful we are able to have two!

I have never felt more secure in a decision in my life now that i own & drive this car. Best vehicle Ford has ever produced in my opinion! I dont think i will ever be getting rid of this thing, unless the values peak into the 80's or higher.

I agree with you. I bought a 2018 GT 350 with 500 miles on it last November. We're in june now, and I've seen older year model GT 350s with five , seven , thirteen , twenty thousand miles on them going for $62 , $64,000 average money. (some even more) Mine is bright yellow and I get compliments and thumbs up quite often. I like to keep it clean all the time so I don't drive it in the rain. It is a unique and special car for the price.

I remember seeing used 2017 gt350s at 45-50k last year, now they're 10k above that for 2017 & above. Should've pulled the trigger back then, but was focused on other things at the time. When the time is right, I will not hesitate to purchase one of these bad boys... Such a beautiful looking & sounding car.

I remember when I bought my 17 GT350 and found your channel, you were doing testing on a bunch of different wheels. We talked about my Forgeline wheels, and think you bought some Signatures. When the GT5oo came out I had to have one so traded my 350 in for a 2020 GT500. It was the biggest mistake, as it just isn't special lie the 350. Lucky for me my GT500 had a issue and Ford had to buy it back. Right after that a friend told me about a guy who needed cash and was selling a 2017 Porsche 911 GTS since I was able to get it at least ten grand under what it was worth I jumped on it. I drove it for a few months and while it was a awesome car, it just wasn't for me. Like you said they are great cars, but just to refined. The Porsche did things to well, was to easy to drive close to it's limit and just didn't have the raw emotion the GT350 had. Since I didn't need to get rid of the Porsche I waited for the right buyer and found someone who wanted the 911 and gave me the price I wanted. SO I am now back into a GT350, this time a Iconic Silver with black stripes GT350R. I don't miss the GT500 or the 911 GTS. I now realize how special a GT350 is, and don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon. Though I did put the Forgelines back on the R and saving the Carbon fiber wheels for special events, or to keep pristine if I ever do sell it
For anyone debating between a regular 350 and a R having run the same exact wheels on each car, if you're not tracking the car, a regular GT350 with some lighter aftermarket wheels is so close to a R. Though Lightweight wheels will transform a regular GT350 as the factory wheels are pretty heavy

    Great Video ...
I was blessed to find a deal in March prior to knowing their would be a 2020 motor recall ... luckily, my only recall was the back up camera lol...
And only paid $63K with 2500 miles and new tires on it, but the shipping costs from California to Las Vegas, to Sarnia Ontario to Sudbury, Ontario Canada was exorbitant to say the least and I had to do a lot of work on my own to get it shipped. A shortage of drivers etc...
Part and parcel with Covid interrupting everything. It is the cost of doing business if one wants a collectors car, like the 350, and I am truly happy with my purchase and have enjoyed every spirited drive I have the privilege of taking. It is much harder on gas than the 2020 Mustang GT (ten speed) of the same year I possess, but the 350 is the total drivers car and best Mustang ever produced.
Having it shipped from California, I took advantage of the geography, so I had it brought to Shelby American to do their magic to bring it up to an SE (Shelby Signature Edition), which makes it one of only one hundred per each model year, 2015 to 2020. 2020 being the only year with the Shelby 55th Anniversary Badging.
Now that Chevy upped the anty, I would love to acquire a 2022 Corvette Z06 with the 5.5L Flat Plane Crank motor, which is the primo motor of all american produced cars. I love my GT350, but the Vette with that insane NA motor is the car to get, but they are all spoken for. Each and every one....
That makes me grateful for getting the GT350 in the last model year..
    Enjoy fellow Car enthusiasts !!!

I have a 2018 Kona Blue GT350. I had an opportunity to upgrade to a R and I wanted to, but I was in the middle of a construction project. I was concerned about ballooning costs of the project and hassle of shipping, so I held off. I love the Kona Blue, so the only option for me was to trade for another Kona Blue car. I was at one point tracking 6 Kona R's across the country. The ones in California were asking $30k ADM.

I bought a new 18 LF grey, motor ate oil so I got the new Gen2 motor… then I decided I wanted a more refined AWD, so I got an S4, traded the Shelby….well after 7 months I got bored with the flappy paddle S4….and just got another 18 Shelby two weeks ago and got rid of the S4. It’s got 40 k miles on it, still on original engine and does not burn oil. Came up from Florida to DC and it’s spotless and has a great tint job in it. So sometimes we do go back!

I’m sure I’m the minority here. I bought a used 2016 350, for my daily, with 11k miles on it in early 2020. As much as I loved it, terrible terrible reliability. I put 10k miles on it and spent $5k in various maintenance repairs (fuel railing system, starter, ac compressor, etc) . I had to let it go, but I did sell it for more than I paid for it. Ford is all over the place with reliability. Had multiple issues with new 5.0 prior as well.

Not entirely surprising since a limited production Shelby will always hold value. The really crazy thing is how the regular 2013/14 Mustang GTs have stopped depreciating and now going up in value which is unheard after only 7 or 8 years for a mass produced car. Try finding a low mileage 13/14 GT for less than 25k these days. It seems a lot of people really miss that last true muscle car look for mustangs.

Chip shortages. With so many cars nowadays having various technology components, this has caused a huge strain on automotive makers. Base GT mustangs are 5-6k higher on the used market versus a year to a year and a half ago. Also, now with inflation running rampant and the dollar nosediving, people are looking to buy hard assets. Things like art, collector cars, real estate, etc. With the Shelby GT350 cease in production also propelled them higher, faster.

Hello from Los Angeles California, the reason to the World 🌎 initiative to Electric Vehicles (EV's). The state has had a stressed power grid, prior to shutting down its last Nuclear Power Plant.
They also, shot themselves in foot again, which Jalopnik News had pointed out. California doesn't have a recycling center for the 8 to 10 year old EV's. They don't know where to put the whole car, or just the decaying battery packs. Now imagine seeing an unused battery 🔋 The acids leak thru metal, and well now imagine the ground water 💧 Acidic or Toxic chemicals. Clean Air doesn't equal to clean water.

Unlikely since Ford will keep producing versions of the 500 in the future. The 350 isnt being made anymore so it's almost a collectors car at this point, who knows what the price of the car will be in 10+ years (where as Ford will have at least 1 newer version of the gt500 by then). BUT, who knows how long the V8 will last with all of this talk of everything going electric, so if that happens, then the last true gas version of the gt500 will SKYROCKET, as will every other V8/muscle car.
