    this guy still responds to his viewers after two years, i’m 16 and just sucked a washer into my turbo and a new turbo is 400+ but the wheel is only 85. this video helped so much you earned a subscriber man

    So much talk about turbos...oversized turbos, twin turbos....First time I came across a channel that rebuilds them!
    I say film the next one! This was a good surprise!

      lol I can save my customers a lot of money this way and when you send the core turbo back that is all they do and sell it for tons of money as a rebuild its a rip off IMO ... thank you for watching

    My excursion turbo seal let go and now it blows blue smoke out the tailpipe like crazy…time for a rebuild thanks for the tutorial

      @@CountryMileGarage I pulled the turbo and pedestal a few days ago to do the EBPV delete..new exhaust outlet and pedestal. So I think I have that part down…Glad there’s videos out there because a lot the repairs and diag on these trucks isn’t too bad to DIY
      When I had the turbo out was when I noticed all the oil on the exhaust side 😅 it always smoked a little but it’s worse after the EBPV delete

      @@CountryMileGarage Definitely easier, have to pull cab for a lot of repairs on the newer stuff on GM and ford (not positive about RAM)
      FORScan and a OBD2 connector, as well as fuel pressure gauge can pretty much diagnose the majority of problems these 7.3s have

    Good video. Please don't use an impact to put the impeller back on. The impact blows can cause fractures in the new impeller.

    I would strongly suggest after you rebuild the CHRA to send it out to get balanced.

    What is your recommended procedure prep for the first restart of a new/rebuilt turbo? Do you crank the motor with the fuel pump fuse/relay disconnected to get the oil flowing, or just pre-lube it to death, and start it normally? Ty

      If you put it on and start it right away just pre-lube it. The most important thing is to use assembly lube it's thick and stays so for the first few seconds at startup and no oil the assembly lube will do it's job. Thank you for watching

    Checked on the part # you show in the video (A1380305N). That appears to be for a pre-'99 ('98 and older). The correct part # for the '99-'03 appears to be A1380306N. I have no idea what the differences are. Any viewers - double-check this.

      This video is over 2 years old very well possible they changed something and give it a different part number ... happens all the time in the aftermarket world. As you can see in the video the new parts matches the old parts. But good eye and thank you for catching that and thank you for watching

    Did the kit come with new bolts for the hot side? My turbo is blown out between the pedestal mount and the hot side. One of the bolts was missing so I might need to put a heli-coil in the hot side housing. I just saw you putting the new bolts in the cold side.

    I know this is old but just in case…
    Having trouble removing the turbo wheel. My hands don’t seem to be strong enough to hold the other end with a pliers. Any suggestions anyone?

    So idk what my problem is with my F350. I highly suspect the turbo. My truck is manual, runs fine with no Check light on. If i hit the gas all the way to the floor, my rpms go way up and then level out. I hear my turbo kick in and its abnormally loud. Do ya think the turbo is my issue? I think ill take it apart anyway to check.

      Take the air intake boot off and inspect the turbo wheel for missing pieces and shaft play. Also check at the boost pipe if there's any oil. Any of the things mentioned above you need to rebuild your turbo. Hope this helps and thank you for watching

    Question for u I blew my turbo on my 2012 6.7 Cummins when I go spin my turbo on the air side it is sloppy if I get internals from another one could I put it in my turbo in my truck

      I'm not sure on those ... but look and see if you can find a rebuild kit for it. From what you are telling me the bearings are worn out. Hope this helps and thank you for watching

      @@CountryMileGarage brother, idk where my mind was when I commented, how in the world I hit thumbs down and did not catch it, idk🤦‍♂️ I got 10,000 things on my mind(family)right now but I did I did pay attention to your video😄my truck is a 2000 F350 7.3l and I've had the turbo and pedestal o'rings replaced b4 but n the near future I'll be tackling all of it. Turbo, pedestal, fuel bowl, HPOP (improved one) and all the sensors and components. I believe I'd better do it b4 something begins to leak. Again, lol. 😆 Great video btw. 👍👍

      That's a Gearwrench extra large kneeling pad part # 86996. I have used it so much that the hood latch is pressed through and holds it in place lol. A amazon link below to show you what it is ... thank you for watching

      @@CountryMileGarage I was honestly asking no trolling intended. I have a 02 and I’ve always been told and seen to never put anything but oem parts (motorcraft/alliant)on it as much as possible.

      @@ebolawarrior451 OEM doesn't even make turbo rebuild kits. That is all aftermarket stuff which means China or Taiwan. But if you buy it from a auto parts store you'll have some sort of warranty. I have done a boat load of these turbos for customers and for myself and they have held up
