@Tech-28 yes, but we had to use a special pry bar made specifically for cv axles and a slide hammer. Got the whole thing in one piece. But at the cost of the car sitting for a month.
Also, my snap ring is off with everything installed, I don't think it'll easily snap in because the axle has walked out about a cm, think there's any hope of cheating with a pry bar/ hammer to get that all back in?
@@GradeT1Lobster I don’t recommend hitting that bearing race only because it’s very hard but also very brittle and can fracture easily if stuck. But that’s up to you, you’ve got to get that axle support bearing fully seated in the housing to get that snap ring in and the snap ring is super important. If you leave it out the entire axle will walk itself out and could possibly destroy the splines of not only the axle shaft but the differential as well
@@GradeT1Lobster that bolt is an M10x1.25 x12mm long with a rubber bumper on the end used to help keep the support bearings outer race from spinning in the housing. I’ll see if I can find you a part number. That bolt it actually important to have
@@sivucit AWD model is different, the support bearing is housed in the front differential, FWD models have an actual support bracket that houses the bearing and bolts on to the engine block

There i 3 bolt that holds the mounting bracket of center bearing you should remove with bracket
