I was just going to say this. I think he has one of EVERYTHING in those boxes on the back of that truck. It is a kind of magic. He said in another video that he had $100K in equipment in the back of that truck. I think that is a conservative estimate.

Now I'd be tempted once it was on dry land to take out a measuring tape, measure it for length and tell the guy it was undersize and that I'd have to throw it back.

@@donnyj88 I do the same and it does more than just looking good. It makes things easier, cleaner and safer. I don't understand why more guys don't do it, even when I worked for other people I'd keep my gear clean and organized. The last thing you want is to be digging through dirty gear in nice clothes when you get called away from Sunday dinner.
As for safety, organization keeps your time in the kill zone down by not having to dig through your gear on the side of the road. The color codes show weight ratings at a glance and the one thing people overlook is paint helps show cracks. I've seen hooks fail under load and its not pretty or something I'd wish on a enemy. By keeping them clean and painted you'll see a crack 100 times easier than a rusty piece of gear.

Ron..as an audiologist , the loud high pitch beeping sound your lift makes , over the years of doing that will significantly damage your hearing. Hearing smoke detectors , doorbells , and other high pitch noises will be much harder to hear. Wearing ear protection will shut much of that bad noise out , but still allow you to hear people talk. Take care of those things on each side of your head. You need them.

WHEN I DID TOWING BACK IN THE ...... WELL A LONG TIME AGO. WE ALWAYS HELPED THE CUSTOMER ANYWAY WE COULD. JUST A KIND WORD AND RESPECT GOES A LONG WAY. LOVE THE WAY YOU TALK TO LAW ENFORCEMENT AND OR CIVILIANS. GREAT JOB ALL AROUND. GOD BLESS.

I think that's a hook lift bed, So the entire flatbed will extend off the back, and damn near sit flat on the ground. Most of the time you can tell a hook lift bed because they have gap between the headache rack and the cab.

@Calvin H. Actually, that truck is just a tall rollback/tilt deck truck. It is not a hook lift. The gentleman that owns it has been to our shop to pick up wrecked vehicles before, so I have seen him operate it. Thanks and God bless.
