Interesting. I would have never guessed that. Great to see you get another video out. I'm guessing Florida is working well for you.

Ask UPS... they switched their delivery trucks to GAS years ago... to save 1,000,000 $$$. My brother & I have owned both diesel and gas, since 1990's. I still have my 7.3L Powerstroke for pulling heavy loads. Gas overall is cheaper. His 3500 Chevrolet 6.0L gas truck weighs in at 17,000 lbs. It's average 10-11 miles per gallon gas. His Dodge 3500 5.3L diesel service truck same weight similar average 11-12 mpg diesel. Operating cost per year was cheaper for gas over the last 30 years of service records kept. Yes, we were surprised by the results. But then we considered what UPS had done, so it became obvious... for stop and go service vehicles gas has a lower overall operating cost. Straight over the road towing of heavy loads diesel has an advantage... I wish you would have taken an F350 gas burner back down... Thanks for sharing. 🍺🎣

350 gas would of been more for sure.

Jon as always an interesting video. Something to consider is the size of the two vehicles, the F350 is a much larger vehicle in comparison obviously, think about how much bigger the difference would have been had you drove an F350 gas back down to Florida. Diesel is best! (even if it is a Ferd)

I was going for comparable fuel economy vehicles a gas 350 would of been half the economy of the diesel. But I definitely agree.

Not at all the fishing here is absolutely on fire. There is no comparison fishing wise. Now other things I miss but we won't go there. I'll never live in mn again though

@@JDSOutdoors Like I tell my family in Michigan, freshwater fishing is the same as fishing for bait in saltwater. : P
