Will you finally treat yourself to a short holiday when this is completed? At a minimum, make a holiday video to upload. A road trip. Something. Have a rest. You’ve earned one.
Head up to the Big Lake for a week and visit the family.
Exactly I agree 100%
This 💯
Let’s donate a trip to Greece for her 😁
Tube the salt river for an afternoon. ....Ask a local
I have to say that the quality of work in your videos is unusually top notch. Shows your real experience and skill.
Agree but not just skill but attention to detail and putting in there extra effort…
@@Jayydubss Yes but needs authentic JDM. DRILLS ZIP TIES. PAINT AND AIR FOR TIRES
Yeah, I really love it when Sarah works on this car. I can’t wait to see it on the road.
Yes, and Sarah is not doing this job on behalf of a client. Because financially it would be a disaster. Other UA-camrs mess up mercilessly, Sarah does everything so well... an absolute role model. Only without youtube it would never be worth it
@@user-ht1xu4gv2uAgreed. But a different style of jdm. What a boss.
I speak only for myself but I am fairly sure many others are in the same camp- we watch your videos precisely because you don't take shortcuts.
You take the time to do it right, and still show us mistakes or setbacks along the way, because schtuff happens.
Keep on keeping on, we appreciate it!
Very clever! Now Sarah gets to add "schtuff" to her video vocabulary.
This car should be in the toyota museum when its finished. So much detail put into it! Very nice! Almost too nice to drive.
Nothing is too nice to drive
Robot voice:
Must be driven, must be driven......
@@randywl8925 also this is the first & only v-8 celica so it isn't museum material.
It's just another shitbox. at this point.
@@timewa851Waiting for the hate to roll in. Hope I'm wrong.
I mentioned previously that it would be cool if Akio Toyoda were made aware of this build. He'd dig it, I'm certain...they guy's a complete gearhead at heart.
Indeed, "Quality Car Builds Don't happen Overnight!" I'm not complaining one little bit about your attention to detail, your self-imposed insistence on using genuine parts to the greatest extent possible and "waiting on parts" delays. You do you, Sarah, and I'll keep watching with great pleasure and appreciation.
Been watching you for a while now, and I must say , your days as an Aircraft mechanic surely paid off here.
As a twenty five year mechanic, I appreciate the work you are doing. Absolutely love the vids on this project. I'll be sad when it is completed.
I suspect Sarah will find another project. Maybe stuff a 454 Chevy into a Corvair…
OMG.
You'd have to feather the accelerator to get it going, otherwise it'd just melt the tires down to the rims. LoL.
But once it hooks up, it'll launch you into next week.
Fun thought. Not sure I'd want to see it happen though.
As an Air Force Vet myself, I want to compliment you. Your work is excellent.
I am super impressed with patience you have, not a single wrench tossed.
4 10 hour days in a hot garage, I would've lost my schtuff countless times
The happiness when you take about the HKS parts is so infectious! Love it!
Don't sweat the delays, you are still years ahead of Project Binky.
Unless you measure time in fabricated bracket units.
The oatmeal variety pack metaphor is so SnT. 😉 When you were explaining everything that has to be mounted on the firewall, my brain returned a “507 Insufficient Storage” error code. 🤯 As always, thanks for all the hours you put in to create this content, Sarah. 👍👍👍
Except the correct answer is maple and brown sugar not peaches and cream.
@@rickmossop3733oh no! Sarah is of course correct, peaches & cream is the best! 😋😋
As a veteran I definitely support this veterans channel 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🤜🏾🤛🏾
0:37 "Now that I got the hard pipe laid, it's time to work on the soft stuff..." 🤣
I gave Sarah an A+ for that one, but I think it flew over many viewers heads like a U-2 flyover.
I'm just impressed you can do all this with your nails.
@@Pyroteknikid that’s because you have short nails (assuming), lol. It’s like blinking or breathing, I literally don’t think about it.
@@SarahnTuned True, they are literally an extension of your body. Probably help a lot picking up small parts...
I never thought I would find car wiring footage so fascinating, but here I am, totally engrossed! And the click of the wire clipper/stripper? Total ASMR.
Hello, You are one of the smartest people on UA-cam. You should call this an engineering video. Don't let the drill bit get to you. The bumper sticker, "Shit happens", sums that up. It takes a huge amount of determination to get through this project.
You don't cheat by using cheap parts to save money. Always do the best work and never tempted to line your own pockets. A Star.
Sarah's idea of "not a shitbox" is a SEMA quality build.
SEMA quality is a pretty low bar.
@@SarahnTuned okay, higher quality than most all other professional builds.
@@SarahnTunedthat kind of burn could set a forest on fire. 😂
ooooo....rrrrr....ouch!!
@@SarahnTuned So is FEMA.
The silly Japanese TV style sound effects are space mustard gold. We love you Sarah
I love watching your channel, you are effortlessly and endlessly entertaining. And you do FANTASTIC work!!!
Ethics, planning, redundant structure and systems, all spiced up with creativity and humor....and self-effacing humor. Bravo!
Love the personality, makes car stuff on the internet more fun
Hey Thanks, No shit boxes here.
Sunday morning eating breakfast while watching Sarah work on the soft stuff after laying the hard pipe. When I feed the cows every morning, I'll now refer to them as standing in the feed line.
Your perfectness on this project is still AMAZING 😅
Thanks! I think you’re taking everything to the next level and I’m loving this series. Key it up please.❤😊
Even if somebody would not love the car for whatever reason, they would still be speechless about the collection level of Japanesse fittings and connectors. Art by itself, disguised in a car.
Those HKS parts are sooo super cool and great....Great idea....total class!
Almost done.
I love all the details.
Sarah, you are my favorite mechanic on Utube by far!
Fully mission capable. Haven’t heard those words in a while. Thx for the flashback.
Your killing it! That will be a great feeling when it lights off, all of the blood, sweat, and clever words will be worth it. Keep up the great quality work Sarah, looking forward to the run video!
So happy you have another upload on this car. Thanks for the update.
6:02am coffee in hand getting ready for a hike in the woods. And boom Sarah shows up so here I sit :)
Yeah, I was about to use my brain and then the same thing happened.... I'm so glad
Same, about to clean the kitchen floor and bam I'm watching the update
Yep!
Sarah, your attention to detail is incomparable. You truly are a brilliant woman.
Can't wait to see you start this one up!!!🎉
The grin on your face when you're talking about the HKS parts is worth watching the entire video for. There is a happiness and satisfaction there that is amazing
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you always doing what is right, not doing what is easy!!!
The hard line going through the loop at the rear probably needs a grommet to keep the line from rubbing against the metal hoop. Love your program. Had a 74 like yours in 74. Loved that car.
Originally it had a coupling at that point with a clip to hold it in place, much like the clips that go on the soft brake lines.
Your videos are the best. An absolute dream to watch and listen. Everything top to bottom is perfect top to bottom. One of the very best car channels on UA-cam.
U take your craft to an entirely new level!! So clean and beautifully neat 😊
Rebuilding this car has been amazing to follow. Glad you are doing it with so much perfection!
I truly enjoy the content you put out, don't change a thing.
If my translation is correct, “im staubzucker wälzen und sagt die zauberwörter” is “roll in icing sugar and say the magic words”. Classic Sarah! ~WilPaul
I love how meticulous you are with your work, attention to detail is 💯 worth it.
I hope you drive this car lots when it's done.
It takes you a lot of time to build a car. That is exactly why I never miss a video. Your attention to detail is fantastic!
Personally, I like a manual fuel pressure regulator.
Excellent work BTW!
Yes! Another Sarah vlog! Day made!😊
🎶Your builds🎶
🎶And reviews🎶
🎶Give us that which we desire🎶
This has to be the most realistic build ever on UA-cam. Love the progress and the fact you won't cut corners. Amazing work and I can't wait for the next one. P.S. I don't think you are even capable of ever producing a Sh!+ Box. Take care and one love ❤
You know we love every video right !?
I love the look of pride for getting matching HKS parts. 4:00
New channel motto - "Only quality and obsessive detail. No shitbox cars....". Seriously, you are one of the most dedicated and detail oriented builders ever, keep being yourself. Don't rush, your quality speaks for itself.
Definitely don't rush anything on our (the internet's) account! Sure, I am dying to see what you have coming up next but I also love your dedication to top quality 🐧
Sarah.
Thank you for showing the correct way to do a super cool project. Take your time and we will be here when this awesome project is ready to breathe fire for the first time. Go Sarah Go!
I love the a-n fittings and electrical work .
It's really fun watching your progress on this Celica. You fill a niche that nobody else does on CarTube. Anyone can do an LS swap. This is almost as much art as it is mechanics. Thank you for your hard work on the car and the video production.
I just took my existing fan belt, cut it, put it on over the pulleys, marked where the belt met again, trimmed off excess, the duct taped it together and went to the local parts place, used their Gates Belt Measuring device, and even showed the counter kid how to use it, and ended up with the perfect belt! Just an idea.
In awe of your knowledge base and creativity. Enjoy your channel immensely.
Amazing work on a one of one build. Attention to detail is amazing, especially for a one person build.
I am constantly in awe of your electronics and wiring expertise. Just beautiful work. Thank you for sharing…
No matter what you do don't give up , you have come to far and done so much for yourself and everyone watching
Have you ever considered attaching your vice to your work bench? As an avid woodworker, and wannabe mechanic, I try to make your life easier and safer whenever possible. Can't wait to hear that first Vrooom!
Thanks!
Hurricane is hitting tomorrow and I had to stop, watch this and learn more mechanic tricks. Thanks!
Your alternator doesn't appear to have much contact with the belt. You mat be able to go from the crank to the smooth pulley then back down to the alternator to gain more belt contact. Loving this series, keep up the solid work.
Yeah...I had the same thought about the belt routing not being ideal for the alternator.
If the future history of the world is very fortunate, Sarah's Celica ST will be around for a very very long time.
You edit what must be 4 million hours of video AND are a brilliant engineer, mechanic, technician and perfectionist. Your work and tenaciousness are beyond monetary values… although 4 million dollars an episode might be about right. You are one amazing person.
I am a tired person, a very.. very.. very.. tired person.
I'm enjoying every minute of this build and the fact that you are staying true to yourself!!!
I was looking at your old videos last night Sarah, and noticed you are on your seventh year on your channel and now have posted 881 videos. How time just fly's by, great work young lady.
Love that very happy whole face expression when talking about the matching HKS parts.
Omg I love your nails 💅🏻❤
This thing will run forever
I had a 1973 Toyota Celica GT and it was one of the best cars I ever owned. I can seriously relate to this build. Sarah you are amazing and funny. I can have cake and eat it too. I love you.
Why, when we hit something, we always say what we hit? Even when we’re alone. 😂
Come on, we all do it lol.
Car is looking great Sarah. Love it ❤😊
I'm here for the "feed line" quips.. never change! And exceptional project detail, education in a relatable style, filming agony, interesting projects, and pop culture references I sometimes get. I'd say never apologize but occasional awkwardness is also a part of what makes this channel so great.
No joke about Peaches and Cream / Blueberry oatmeal flavors! 😋
Not sure about the belt routing. there's not much engagement on the alternator so i bet it will start to slip once you get some load on the alternator.
Usually the rule of belt routing is you want to have atleast half on the area on the pulley engaging with the belt on accessories.
I am wondering the same thing.
This. That belt mock-up looks like it will only tangentially be engaging the alt pulley.
The belt literally is routed identical to factory on the alternator.
Today I 'my going to change the oil filter on my car...yesterday I pulled the rocks out of the tire treads.
ALL THAT HARD WORK AND DIDN’T EVEN BREAK A NAIL! You are amazing ❤❤
I love watching you and Tony Angelo from Stay Tuned build cars. I think you’d both lose your minds watching the other one work. Definitely different approaches to the same sort of task, and I enjoy both immensely!
"Pedal Sasoon" I chuckled
I feel like I was waiting 84 years for the next video! *relief*
Knowledge, humor and patience. A great role model!
You take attention to detail to the next level .. and it's going to be one of a kind and a very special car.
So amazing the amount of work you get done on your own Sarah. Such an inspiration.
I cracked up at your laying pipe comment 😂
Rock on Sarah.
Every step of this build is super fascinating to watch. Sure, there are set-backs, but I can't imagine any project that did not have any of those. This is going to be a spectacular car. Thank you for what you do and Stay Awesome!
I usually buy three belts of different sizes and make the second trip to the parts store for the right one😂
So...
When you're done, it will be shrink wrapped, put back in an toyota original box and put back on the shelf for display.Right?
It's just too nice to be on Tucson highways with all the crazies driving there.😉
I have learned and am learning so much from your videos. Thank you.
Since I've been following your channel your precise detail to quality shows in your work & your humor make your channel bloody awesome...
Bravo
Sarah
It is amusing to hear the narrative of your shop work . It is eerily familiar with what goes on in my head during similar toilage.
Love your attention to details and drive to get it done right .
Just the greatest 🙂♥️
I am a seriously lazy retired bum. Subscribed to over 100 UA-cam channels. There is only one that I have notifications turned on for. Only one that I look forward to with something approaching anxiety? desperation? desire? love? need? addiction? Yes, that’s it; addiction and love. 🐧 SARAH-N-TUNED 🐧. Thank you, 🐧 ❤Sarah ❤ 🐧
crispy parmesan plugs, a great shop snack!
Such a nice car Sarah, well worth the wait and frustrations.
I've built a few and its just part of the process.
This is a beautiful build though
When it rains, it pours! 😉
Thankfully you got the bolt sorted though.
The attention to detail is off the hook! 👏🏻
