I make them out of wood. I carve Scandinavian inspired eating utensils for camping or daily use. One of my main sellers is what I call “Scandi Meat Spikes. Forks are new historically speaking. The wood ones came first because metal was expensive. Great video as usual. 🎸🔪
Hi Dustin!! Very nice spike. I have got one but I bought it because I can’t forged it. But I am happy with it. Congratulations my friend, your finish is fantastic.
Great video as usual but for the sake of your back buddy raise up that anvil a bit you look to be a tall dude like me that hunching is not great on you. Keep the videos coming !!!
Thanks brother. Yeah, I might need a “detail oriented” anvil. I love getting down and being close to the work when I’m making detailed moves. Thanks for watching.
Cool project and it looks great!!
Thanks. I appreciate that and thanks for watching.
That would make a really nice leather marking tool. Wish I had a forge. Very nice.
I agree
Always enjoy your efforts and videos thanks for keeping craftsmanship alive
Thank you for the kind words.

Very cool project and a nicely edited and filmed video. Would be really cool to make one out of cable damascus
Thank you. I definitely agree Damascus would be sweet.
Is that how the black nights did their armour? Baking in the oil?
Very cool! I want one. I bet if you use 2 they would make great chopsticks.
😁. True true.

Thanks Miguel. Might be a good project to get you into forging if you’re interested 😉
For dinner tonight.....I will be setting out Viking eating spikes! Guess we won't be having spaghetti?
Dustin sorry to use familiarity with you but “you’re good!!!” 🙂
Thanks Bernard
