Once I saw this video I decided to check it out. It was good timing on my part as I am getting my drivers license fall of 2020. After the first 4 episodes I was hooked and made watching the entire anime over this summer. At the time of writing this I have just finished the final episode. And I just wanted to come bacl and say thank you for inspiring me to start dabling in cars a bit and show me this masterpiece.
Hate to break it to you, but the AE86 kind of sucks. That was actually why they used it in Initial D. They intentionally used a ridiculously slow car to make Takumi's technique that much more impressive, and to better hammer home the point that technique matters more than power ever could

They came with neither. It came with T-VIS. God I hate when popular youtubers misinform people. Toyotas first vvt was in mid 90s with 3sgte beams and some other motor.

Hi Donut Media. I apsalutly love your videos and have a great laugh watching them. I just wanted to point out that the Silvertop 20valve does not have vvt like a honda but it does have vct "variable cam timing" It works by retarding the whole intake camshaft as revs increase. This increases the duration of the compression stroke and also lessens the risk of the piston hitting the valves at high rpms. I hope this helps, keep making more videos!

only the black top has itbs and the silvertop is closer to 130hp because it has smaller valves and a more fuel economic timing

Hi Donut Media. I apsalutly love your videos and have a great laugh watching them. I just wanted to point out that the Silvertop 20valve does not have vvt like a honda but it does have vct "variable cam timing" It works by retarding the whole intake camshaft as revs increase. This increases the duration of the compression stroke and also lessens the risk of the piston hitting the valves at high rpms. I hope this helps, keep making more videos!
