where do you put the microphone to capture the sound of the bike?
Could see almost from the off that she was barely in control. Sounded like she coasted round the right turn at the traffic lights with the clutch pulled in. It was just all wrong. But glad to see her and the bike are OK.
First of all, i hope she is ok and she will not be afraid to ride again. This kind of mistakes are a good lesson and everyone can learn a lot from them, material things can be change or fixed. Ride safe and keep doing this.

I can remember how I crashed my MT 07 2020 in the corner, 110 kmh high side.
3K $ repair and 1.5 months of new skin growth , and I’m still a lucky guy to be alive and being able to ride again.
To all “newcomers” please, be serious and focus on cornering and counter-steering.
Theory is good only as “underlayer” of practice!

The outcome could have been predicted. Stupid of him to let her on the MT from a grom. Power, weight difference is crazy between the two. Especially with no licence and insurance.
@@Alexnikpo Ah, so when someone passes their full motorcycle test and goes from a 125cc at 14.5bhp onto an unlimited cc motorbike with unlimited bhp (in some cases restriction applies) it is predicted they will crash is it? No, accidents happen, things happen in life and we all learn from them in the future. Why don't you chill out a little and have some fun, if you come here to watch videos and just get pressed by everything, maybe youtube isn't a place for you :) x

I understand everyone starts from somewhere but she has a long way to go before she can ride something like that 🤦♂️ . Her riding is just wrong in so many ways, you coukd tell she was gonna ditch it without even reading the title
the mt 07 is just a fine starter bike. it handles like a bicycle and is pretty light weight. idk something around 183 kg or so?! the step from grom to mt-07 is absolutly reasonable.
@@sorengoll9818 This is very true, unfortunately it is clear to see from this video that the rider of the MT07 lacked road positioning, awareness and had inconsistent confidence. We all have to start somewhere but seriously, just watching the way that bike was being ridden was obvious that something was going to go wrong.

As soon as I heard the throttle and she took off, I was like "oh no". I wouldn't let my friend ride my bike unless I could see they were very confident and respectful of their own bike and we both had cardos or a comms system so I could tell them to back off. My brother just got his first bike and I'm not sure I'll even let him try my MT-09 this season.
Does she have a bike licence? Seemed to struggle even changing gears?
The shifter is a lot more stiffer on the Mt than the grom

@@RIDEPOV Yeh, the pre-LED variant (maybe the new ones too) needs some revs on the engine to get the oil flowing through the gearbox. This is sometimes necessary to get into neutral as well. Once you give it what it wants though it's smooth as silk. When I did my training (last week) I spent most of the time in 2nd and 3rd (4th on the dual carriageways) and honestly didn't notice it being stiff. No stiffer than my CB125F anyway. Just a quirk of that bike I guess.
Wait, are those L plates on the Grom? Let's go with "forgot to take them off after passing mod 2" 😉

hello,.. what a pity to see your mt 07 go to the ground, however,. she, the rider didn't suffer much damage,.. and the bike, anyway, could be worse,... it's very complicated to borrow a bike,.. and on top of that a mt 07, or 09,.. they are machines that,. gain speed, in a little space and in a few seconds,..I have already heard of several cases, of borrowing a motorcycle, which will have very bad results,.. some are fatal,...because the person who uses the motorcycle gets excited, and you think you already know everything, after walking for a few minutes and so on,..and then comes the other problem, fixing the bike, which as we know,..is very expensive,..in short, by chance in this case, it wasn't very serious and still good,.. for both !!! good curves ,.. with care !!
Hi, me and my wife ride bikes, and i keep telling her she needs to really get used to counter steering before she can hit county road, i hope I am right.
It's a lot more than just that, for example knowing the road layout, bumps etc also can catch anyone off guard. Counter steering is something we all naturally accept and do because the bike is ridden that way at speeds. It's mainly knowing the road and being comfortable with the bike.
@@RIDEPOV definitely right there, when you aren't 100% knowledgable of a road, it is easy for anyone with any level of experience to slip off and get caught off guard by something so small and simple

She has to work on trail braking and not pulling the clutch in while turning. Saw that through one intersection, that way it’s really easy to lose stability while riding!

When cornering and losing enginebraking it really messes up you riding stability.

A good pair of comms is better than trying to honk like that, but you probably know that at this point.
Comms don't help when you lose signal and have to take the phone out to redial.

@@Stock_Skyline Yea sorry but it's not a "700." Lol It's a 5-speed shaft-driven 800cc packing several hundred pounds of torque and doesn't even begin to top out at "80." (Try 160 mph). I guess that only goes to show how little you know about real motorcycles...~smh~
