Alumacraft dropped the ball by not installing lockable lids on ALL storage compartments!!! Should be standard considering how much they cost!!! I bought a new competitor 185 last year, and had them put on.
There’s for sure a very noticeable improvement from the classic, especially in terms of stability. But I wouldn’t go as far as to say it can fish big lakes that the classic can’t, I think they both are on par with each-other, the competitor is just better suited for it.
Nice! Well Done!!
Great rundown dude, it’s insane how much space is saved when you don’t have a console in there.
Belive me, when fall comes around I’m fishing I had a windshield, but love the space too much to give it up.
very informative! i might go buy one now!
I wanna come with! Thanks man!
You have the exact boat I want, even the Suzuki motor. It's been two years how has it been holding up? Also how much did you pay for it?
We got alumacraft too and they’re great boats! Where do you buy the alumatrak adaptors for rod holders?
I got mine from a near by Alumacraft Dealer (Warner Dock in New Richmond, WI) So I’d check with Alumacraft dealers.
What kind of hole shot and top end speed are you getting with that 90HP Suzuki? Looking at a similar set up.

I agree, been robbed before and it’s not fun. Okay to switch mine out eventually!
How does this boat compare to the Classic you used to have in terms of handling big waves/weather, as well as being stable while fishing?
