I added an explanation on money / cost of living at the end, but Buenos Aires is such a beautiful place! Don't forget to create your profile here: geni.us/nomadlist
As a coliving owner in the main town center i can say this is one of the best videos about Buenos Aires. I know Palermo neighbourhood is the main promotioned area in the city but i strongly recommend Villa Crespo, Almagro, San Telmo, Boedo and San Nicolas neighbourhoods if you are planning a long term visit to BA. You will find coliving, coworkings, cafe and restaurants and a more local 'but cool for nomads" way of living (and CHEAPER). Thank you Sergio for your content! You were my first inspiration to make a digital nomad life for myself 🙏🏽🤙🏽🏄🏽♂️
My girlfriend is Porteña, and we met in Toronto. I had the pleasure of visiting BA during Christmas and instantly fell in love with the city. Now we’re planning on moving there at the end of the year. This video captures everything so beautifully and true to life! I’m an instant fan of your work!
You captured our time there and the beautiful Buenos Aires so well! I don’t think anyone has quite captured it like this on UA-cam - now you make me want to go again next summer!
Great video man, Buenos Aires is one of my favourite cities I was there for one year during the pandemic in 2020 and went back at the beginning of this year for 3 months, can’t wait to go back again later this year too!
I am long overdue to return to BA. My first and only visit there was back in 2002 before acronyms were a thing. I remember running into a classmate from university on Avenida Florida.
Great video, Sergio. Argentina was never in my travel list before but it is now! So useful to know about great coffee shops, restaurants and all the hidden gems you could so easily miss, especially as a #digitalnomad if you’re staying in Airbnb’s rather than Co-love spaces.
Hi Sergio! My argentinian husband and I haven’t seen videos well present BA. I confidently say, this is the best video of introducing BA and Palermo, AKA Brooklyn in Buenos Aires, so far My husband and I have watched in UA-cam. It was very useful info you shared that is the co-working place in Buenos Aires and communities as we are planning to live there for a year in the future. I saw you have more videos about other places of Argentina! Cannot wait to see them. we live in NYC visiting Argentina and mostly stay in Buenos Aires (BA) and Merlo. I fall in love with the country‘s numerous gems, history, foods, people, and you name it. Wish you all the best for your nomad life! Take Care! 🤙🏼
what a great video... I will be in BA in 3 weeks for just a couple of days. I am 71 and have been watching a couple of videos to get an idea of where I'll be and your is by far my favorite. I should have learned Spanish instead of Italian.. Thanks for your intro to BA
Glad to see this vid coming out! Im the guy you ran into at the lobby of your airbnb! Im in Europe now so its cool to see all those spots in BA again. Out of all places Ive been, its definitely one of my favorites. Great vid as always!
Hola Sergio! Great job - finally ;) I was there Feb-Mar: this is an AMAZING city, the best I stayed in Latin Amecian. I would emphasize that it's a great value (great steaks and great wines that are unbelievably inexpensive); also: make sure to see one of these Tango shows - it's spectacular.
Amazing video, I'm from Buenos Aires and I'm really happy that you love the city and people from here. I hope that you come back again soon. I didn't go to see you in the NomadsBA Conference because I was working, you've inspired me to be a digital nomad and I'm really gratefully for that. I loved your episode with Maga in the podcast. Can't wait to see the next video, bye!
I have been to BA 30 trips, married a Porteña 11 years ago. Go to Av. Cerviño 4499, y Oro hungry. Order anything at Rio Alba, my favorite parilla. Riquisisisima carne, pollo, y chuletas de cerdo. Papas a la crema! You will love their high quality food and service! ¡Suerte!
So much fun. Looks like a magical city. Love the subway speakeasy theme-- talk about imagination! Great to see you, as always. Hoping you've recovered from all of the equipment losses. 👋😘
Great video Sergio. So many unique things to do that would of taken lots of research or good contacts to know about and experience. Can't wait to go there.
It`s very easy live in Argentina, just you must to have the desire of live like every argentine people and the country it will you make all your need in your life.
LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos ! You go many places we have on our list of possible retirement cities. We hope to visit many of them over the next few years, but we do wish there was some cost of living info. Our list starts with- San Cristobal de las Casas, Mexico Antigua, Xela, and Lake Atitlan, Guatemala Matagalpa, Nicaragua Manizales, Colombia Cuenca, Ecuador Arequipa, Peru Patagonia somewhere and Buenas Aires, Argentina Looking for cool weather, friendly locals, decent affordable healthcare, retirement visa, lots to do and see. Thoughts ? Where would you pick for your parents if they had $2000/month ? You spent about $1700 but I would guess if you lived there long term you would get a lower rent price at least. Thx !
Excellent Sergio as ALWAYS ! > Funny to note that you presented Medellin, playa del carmen, and now Buenos aires because I am now in medellin since december , then 6 months in Playa from july and then 6 months in buenos aires from january 2023... you are a gourou or what? :D I confirm Medellin is what you described in your videos :) Bravo to you for all this sharing !!!!!!!
Si veo bien en el cuadro de los gastos, buceaste en el tigre?? No encuentro esa parte en el vídeo, pero me encantaría tener más información! Gracias :)
how hot is "hot" - a lot of people warn of Dec/Jan/Feb but the weather reports make it seem like it only gets to like 94F for a short time (this isn't hot)
The Book store looks like Theatre and that was already there when Europeans went to South America!!! Theater was Build before the cleaned up the Mud !!!
I am planning a trip to Buenos Aires in about one month, but I don't speak Spanish nor have any friends. Do you recommend staying at Hostel just to make some friends? What's the best way to make friends and get more friendly information? Thank you.

I am planning a trip to Buenos Aires in about one month, but I don't speak Spanish nor have any friends. Do you recommend staying at Hostel just to make some friends?
What's the best way to make friends and get more friendly information? Thank you.
Yes, hostel can help. But check the DN community I mentioned in the video (link in the description too)
Where are you from?
