After years of trying, finally published a video of Playa! I hope you like i.. more videos coming soon! Don't forget to sign up at Nomad List: geni.us/nomadlist
Thank you for showing all the sides of Playa! My impression of it was that it is so touristy but thank you for giving us a deeper look! I saved so many places on my bookmarks :)
UA-cam recommended this video and I'm really impressed! The image quality, the amount of effort to make all the takes and everything, looks like a documentary, loved the video, and this was the best showing the nomad life in Playa, also, awesome place, the sunset vibes and nice spots!
@@sergiosala haha, you don't even have to be hope! Just keep doing what you're doing and it'll happen, no doubt. Not to toot my own horn, but I have pretty darn flawless intuition when it comes to identifying small channels before they get big hehe. You've got this ✌️
Really really miss Playa! Excited to make my way back there soon. Great representation of the city and of course your own flavor. Your videos are an auto-click for me bro, keep crushing it.
Yess Sergio!! You captured Playa perfectly. Thanks for including me in the video! :) You have a little cameo in the Akumal video on my channel too. So many fun memories!
Awesome video. Loved the story telling. Spent 2 weeks in playa recently and it was fun to relate to what I've seen of it. Definitely got some great ideas that I'll put to work when I get back tomorrow 🙌 super valuable
I am recovering from a flu, and I have been watching several of your videos now over the past few days, I am a digital nomad myself, and your content is so helpful to get an idea of new destinations, as I have been contemplating on where to go next. You bring it in an entertaining way, too. Keep it up, very good work!
Great video with a lot of useful info and insights. Thank you very much! I am coming to Playa on the 14th and after watching this video I just feel more comfortable. I'd love to go and grab some rubbish from the beach. Very well done!
Sergio I really enjoy watching your videos. Been living in 13 European countries so far and looking to expand my reach over to the Amerikas. Very nice and relaxing vibe you create with the editing and choice of music. Keep on rocking. 🙏🏼
Thank you for making this video! It is very informative. I just visited Playa Del Carmen last month and I'm thinking about moving there for a couple of months. Also, thank you for including vegan restaurants 😄
I love the vibe of your videos & aesthetics! 💗 10K subs coming up!! We need a 10K video! I feel is just the beginning, you have unique way of showing the world that really connects people
I came here to Playa del Carmen about 7 years ago, and felt in love completely. Lately has become a digital nomad spot, with lot of services and advantages. Small town, affordable price. Beach. Very nice video btw, I suscribe to see more of this!
Great job on your video. I visit PDC every 3 months and still haven't seen or done it all. By you listing out all the places of interest is much appreciated. God Bless
Thanks for sharing mi new amigo! Was there for a month during christmas and new years and just wasnt long enough. Just wondering where the thai restaurant is located? Thanks again! Take care and be safe🤜✌🏖
Such a great video! I lived in Playa last year 6 month and I loved it. Its kind of a village at the same time 😍and funny to see, that I know some people in the video :P
I'm enjoying your videos! Well done! Question: Where is the condo mentioned at 28:00? I've seen this rooftop in another nomad's video. I'll be in PDC shortly and would love to consider renting this place. Thanks!
glad to have stumbled upon your videos! great work. How "family" friendly would you say nomadlist is? We are considering spending 1 year in playa w/ my wife and 2 yr old daughter and we would love to find ways to meet other nomads or expats around 24-36 age and possibly with kids.
I love your videos but a recommendation-can you add the names of the parts of the town, restaurants, areas you are visiting on the screen? It’s hard to catch the name when you are doing the shots.
The Gonzalo Guerreo/Colonia Holliwood area is the best in Playa for long stays, do yourself a favour and get an apartment here !!! For real pizza do not miss the "Trattoria del Centro"... For the best beach experience go ALL the way down PlayaCar, basically up to where you cannot go on anymore.. and you will find some secluded lovely beaches!
Hello, I work remotely but require a printer in the area that can print construction drawings. Does anyone know of a printing shop/service in playa del Carmen? Great video
Cool :) Great camera & editing skills. If you were to recommend a place in Mexico to visit for a first timer for 1 month where would it be? Would it be Playa? Also I noticed you never visited the Mayan sights or xcaret which I see recommended so often - is it because you already saw it?
If you like the beach yes. If not, Mex City is the best to start. I showed Xcaret in another video. Mayan sights are ok but sometimes they just do it for the tourists..
Hey Sergio just discovered your channel and as someone considering going to playa del Carmen in a couple months, this has been immensely helpful. Just one quick suggestion if you could display the names of the cafes/workspaces you go to that would be so nice!
@Sergio! thanks for these videos! They really show the realistic representation of life in as a digital nomad. What other places in mexico are on your todo list? Can you please cover Merida?
Great insight! I'm there right now and it's way too noisy for my taste. I wish apartments were quieter. I struggle to have a good night's sleep anywhere really.
@@sergiosala Yes, I'm on Calle 44 near CTM. Dogs barking, party people talking loud at night, construction noise, food seller. I did 4 buildings around the city and it was the case everywhere. It's not that those people are noisy it's just that the windows are not thick enough in 99% of apartments
For anyone wondering, Playa del Carmen is superior to Tulum and Cancun for digital nomads (assuming you want to be near the beach). Tulum's best area was designed to force you into taxis or into rentiing bikes, and the access to the public beaches is about 5 miles away from town. Power goes out for days when hurricanes hit, and the same goes for the internet. Tulum and Cancun also have insanely pricey taxis.
Great job as always, so informative and organized. I live here now and there are places you mentioned that I haven't even heard about yet :) A question, I noticed that you put "low season" for your airbnb, was that for one whole month? Mind sharing which month? If it was December or January that is usually considered high season here. And if it was November that's really cool that there wasn't much Sargazo (there is now :)
I think this area is too touristy for us. We are retiring at 55 and 60, and heading for the mountains. We prefer cool weather so heading first to San Cristobal de las Casas, and hoping it is not too touristy. Love your videos !
