The character themes feel so well tailored to their characters and I think maybe the people that those characters would appeal to. Era immediately became my favourite character due to her style and personality then her theme has this incredible bittersweet, melancholic tone fitting her lore. I love that feeling in music and games as well as synths with electric guitars so I've been obsessed with the song, trying to find other songs that feel similar in chord progression or genre. I've started listening to Plini after one of the comments on Era's trailer compared his sound to her theme.
Weird comparison but this absolutely reminds me of fighting games and how most of them give their characters unique themes. Main one that comes to mind is Guilty Gear Strive but I absolutely love it when games do this, including omega strikers. Cannot wait to play it
If anyone is looking for more (great) music from (most) these guys, check out the OSTs from the following games: Spark: The Electric Jester Sonic: Before the Sequel Sonic: After the Sequel. (You’ll thank yourself for looking these up later.)
This is typically not my type of game, but I came across a video, fell in love with the music there, checked the OST and my jaw dropped lol Bangers after bangers!
I was actually introduced to this game from my friend however now with the modern iterations of the game and how if you get MVP in a set and you just hear your theme playing god is it so satisfying. However I have to say Rasmus's theme is one of my favourites. I'm just a sucker for castlevania inspired soundtracks. *Followed closely by Ai.Mi., Juno and Drek'ars themes*
Atlas is my favorite, then Zen and Asher are my #2 and 3 but I can never decide which is preferred. I love how Zen's theme SEEMS to contradict him but it actually fits surprisingly well
I think omega strikers hast one advantage over games like overwatch, valorant and even dota or lol and other competetiv mp games. Sound is not "important" for gameplay as much as the games mentioned. I dont have to hear out for an ult soundfile to Dogge it or 360 no scoping etc. Everything is Happening on screen in omega strikers and also way to fast and close to have an ability were the char is calling some catchphrase before firing it. Also the Main Focus is not to kill (even payload modes kills are important. U dont shoot the payload but would be interesting xD) its to Hit the core into the goal. If i See a char not focused on the core but on me then i can be Sure its ging to be a fight. And for my Personal opinion i love it. Its the Region, why it also works on mobile and switch. When i play in the bus etc. I dont alway want to have to bring an Headphones to have success in a game and also dont want to annoy my sourrounding with game sounds (because its not nice) so this game i could be deaf and are able to enjoy it very much. Just cant vibe to the music while i should be totaly stressed out to be goalie xD
Fortnite, League of Legends, and Rocket League are definitely notable for their soundtrack and music, so I don't know if you were cooking with that, but I do think this game's soundtrack (among other things) will lead it to great success. The devs have been carefully planning their moves, every step of the way.
Yes, I remember hearing Rasmus' theme several times during the last playtest. I think they play when that player gets MVP at the end of the round or match.
Honestly, i got recommend this game in steam and youtube couple of times, but i gave it a hardpass look as i always saw a moba sport game of pingpong/soccer (or football outside of USA) was dumb. But while i was doing some projects listening to some fighting game OST, saw Vyce's Theme Song in my recommendation and took a look on a whim to find it had Vyce Animation playing guitar, led me curious as i ended up falling in rabbit hole wondering if it was a Vtuber or something promoting the game. Now I play the simple yey fun ass game i haven't had in long while exploring all these amazing characters mainly for their wicked theme songs (totally not sweating for MVP to hear their music🎶 ). something i'm now noticing as you bring up all these other hero games shooters/moba don't do enough to give their selectable character individuality music vibe that will resonate with players keep coming back. I mean characters personality expressed through animation and written lore is a standard in games to give them contextual background, but i feel music will be timeless impression.
I love this game so much! But if you're trying to get friends to play and they don't like anime. Good luck. This game very much appeals to weeby people.
Just saying i love how when you get mvp in between sets your characters theme song starts playing, that just amazing

Plini is incredible!
Glad to be a part of this video! I’ll be playing it alongside y’all when it comes out!
While music isnt what led me to try the game. Estelle's theme from funk fiction made me want to play her

Thinking about it yeah, this is big in fighting games. Smash bros does this as well
I've been playing since Beta and I felt the only thing missing was characater themes. They then delivered, to incredible results.
finii's theme got me to play omega strikers, honestly im a bit sad that this game went under my radar for so long, but better late than never!!
Kai, Zentaro, Rasmus and Rune's themes are my personal favorites
damn what a lineup, i was first familiar with falk's stuff then discovered everyone else's
Zantaro having that champloo feel, really adds to his character

All of the music is great in this game! Been listening to the striker themes a lot while waiting for the 27th
This game is the next big esports title
This is typically not my type of game, but I came across a video, fell in love with the music there, checked the OST and my jaw dropped lol
Bangers after bangers!
luna and atlas' themes will always be TOP TIER for me!!! theyre all so SO good though...
Atlas and Estelle and the ninja dude? Dats real tunes right there.
Well, I was onboard once I saw Asher, but I definitely stuck around for the soundtrack!

Sry english is not my mothertongue xD
how nice to see your videos again and new content
We've been lurking and waiting for the launch. Now that it's only a few days away, we're going to be kicking it into high gear!
Isn't League kinda known for its goated music and videos though?
U can’t hear them in game though
While yes Overwatch does not have character music themes, they do have map themes. My personal favorite is Midtown's theme.

While I do get that there isnt a focus on music in Overwatch, it's music goes super hard tho.
Annnd the game shuts down and I remembered this joke of a video. Lmfao
X Theme is just the right amount of xcessive❌
There isn't a bad song in the batch
This tbh, I just love how the music fits perfectly with each striker🎶🎧

Do we hear this tracks actually in game?
