Dude I personally think you're great at making bangers. Your tracks blow me away. Keep on mastering the craft.
I loved what you said about how it doesn't matter how it was made, it's about making music that you love. It was actually really encouraging because I've recently been using a lot of sample packs and I felt a strange sense of guilt just because I didnt design the sounds myself.
You know? Nobody would tell you that you aren't a real guitarist because you didn't build the instrument yourself.
For me I like to have separate sessions for sound design and music production. I loved this video and its helped me a lot, thank you 🙏

You sir have my vote for most underrated producer on UA-cam. Keep up the great content!

Man, you really are one of the best out there when it comes to tutorials!
i do what i can
This is an awesome video! I’m getting started on learning how to produce dubstep and melodic bass and this video is presented in a way that is understandable to someone that is new to music theory/production. Thank you!
hey ash, thank you for these videos :) you're super entertaining and you provide a lot of cool knowledge for everyone, even for people that dont use ableton (like me lmao), always looking forward to more videos!
holy shit does the result sound great. its literally as if big man seven lions made this tune. well done ash
thanks !
You make Really great tutorials. Thanks for explaining the actual details instead of just glossing over them and your humor makes these a joy to watch, thanks for sharing!!!!
Also completely agree on samples, arrangement is farrrrr more important than sound design 9/10 times.
this guy gets it
Sick man!! Would love more like these in depth tutorials maybe include the mixing and mastering

super thankful for the midi routing tip to be able to use one midi clip for multiple tracks... i've been having like 6 layers of midi that i'd have to change any time i wanted to change a single note 😭
actually game changing

Yes, it isn't

all access for this one!
Where have you been all my (4 days of attempting to figure out how to properly put together a decent track) life???
youtube dot com slash frombedroom2banger
Can you explain the mid/side low cut on the poop bass? Like you're only cutting the lows out of the middle to make space for the sub?
yes
Cool
This so pretty
no. u are
Siiiiick
How do you actually make those saw chord patches that seem to pulsate even though the MIDI is just a sustained note? Like, there seems to be movement within the sustained chord.
you might just be hearing the sidechain compression aka whenever my drums play the volume ducks and when I solo the saws you hear that ducking without the drums
@@ashFB2B ohhhhh yeah you right dude. thanks!
Hi Ash, what do you use theme in ableton? can you drop the download link?
it's the mid dark theme i think lol i'll post settings in discord
Where is the song complete
Is that the plug-in call serum can use at logic?🙏🙏🙏
yep u can use serum in logic
Wouldn't you have preferred that lead an octave or 2 higher?
no
how to Trigger Supersaw Using Duck To trigger Kick not All 4/4 like Progressive But like Trap one ( Kick Snare , Kick Kick snare..)
use duck in sidechain mode and set it to kick and snare
@@ashFB2B Ohh Thanks I got it❣️✌🏻
im such a noob but how in the world do you know the "root notes" ??
90% of the time root note is the just the bottom note of a chord stack
also don't worry about feeling like a noob- we all start somewhere
The commentary 🤣😭
:)
i appreciate your vids but honestly its hard to tell what's even happening, ily thx tho I needed to know more about chords
how
Plzzzz go over mixing and mastering more in a video ;-;
That lead sheeeeeeeeeeeeesh
yep
Which piano do you use?
4front piano
how can i get this boy discord srvr??
yes
Name song
soopsaw. - ghandi
Is the supersaw preset gone now?
ua-cam.com/video/pSClfd9yqoY/v-deo.html its here now
Which Piano vst is that?
4front piano
you are hilarious
im really not
i feel like i made music that should be in terraria as BGM
I was here in 2022
Now make one sounding like someone in seeking blue!!! Please!!!!!!!! ;-;
hmmm
sounds like lofi at 0:54
its cuz i always have that lofi youtube channel in the background
Lofi pode ser feito com qlq coisa, lofi só é copia de milhões de estilos!
@@Luckzdj what are u saying?
sus is short word means sustain
you're right! but when talking about chords it's "suspended" or "sussy little baka that isn't major or minor"
I do like this tutorial and I like your videos a lot, but having that alternate version of you abruptly interrupt throughout the video made this tutorial really hard to follow at times
why the whole song is like distorted?
cuz i used illeniums paper thin as reference
@@ashFB2B
Is all that distortion comes from the mastering only or it's distorted before the mastering?
And is that bad when you make it super loud and distorted especially the saws and chords when they destorted they sound so bad
Where’s your discord?
You’re your worst critic lol
Don't let them rent space in your head rent free. I came to learn music and that includes music theory. You'll start to go into it and then stop yourself.
Tutorials like this are pretty unhelpful IMO, don't show us how to make the particular track you made, teach us the principles of the genre.
