Still not quite, it goes MVP winner, MVP loser, third most xp overall, second most XP from the opposing team from the third overall, and then the last two go in order. You can't ever have the same team pick 3rd *and* 4th awakenings.
Give it time and it’ll grow, if you really like the game that much and think it’s worth your money then doing something like buying the battle pass will help the devs. I don’t wanna sound like a shill but I’m all seriousness the game making cash is what’s gonna help it keep going ya know
For the Draft Pick its actually: MVP then the one with the highest exp gain from the losing side -> Then 2nd highest exp gains from both winning and losing side -> Then 3rd highest gains from both winning and losing side If Draft went just like what you said then its possible to have the 1st to 3rd picks be all from the winning side, which would really suck and be really hard for the losing side to mount a comeback
I feel like it should be inversed, levels already add a snow balling effect I think picking good awakening could make trying to climb back up from a early game xp diff alot funner
ikr it genuinely needs to be more clear as it doesn't explain some things at all and what is this 2+2 goals like what am I supposed to understand from this? 2+2 is 4 - 1 thats 3 quick mafs
Man I reached plat today after I started playing just a couple of days ago and I had to search over youtube the damn Spark Awakenings cause my friend and I thought they meant something completely different, this video is truly a saver fr.
Holy Shit, thank you for this. I've been playing the last couple days and I legit had no idea what the hell most of the terminology meant, especially sparks. Just had to learn by picking whatever sounded good and figuring out what was and what wasn't.
The one thing I don't get is cooldown rate on the spark of focus(I might have the name wrong. The glasses.) Is 10 a lot of cooldown? Is it a little? Do you have any insight on that?
You can use 1 of your bars to avoid a big damage move like Luna's ult. But you mostly use it for the core flip aspect, which works best when their goal is open and the goalie is on one side of the goal.
How do i use energy burst though is it only for certain characters or can everyone use it? I cant ever seem to do the forcefull kick like other ppl do :/ unless you cant do that as a goalie?
You can use it on every character. It all depends on how much you have built up. If your bar is full and you use the burst, you flip the core, and then you can send the core flying. If your bar isn't full, you just use 1 segment of your bar to become elusive and can't be hit for a short duration. Hope that cleared things up!
I like calling energy burst "burst" because it reminds me of bursts from games like Guilty Gear. That energy gauge? I call it "meter", another fighting game term.
Mix of EXP, goals/assists, saves, shots, and redirects. The exact math on which provides how much towards MVP is unknown but those are the factors that are considered.
This video is WRONG ABOUT SPARK. Your explanation of SPARK items is very good, but SPARK is also the character's LEVEL. Characters gain XP through dealing damage and striking the core, racking up XP increases one's SPARK level, this can be seen as the big number next to the health and energy bars. SPARK level increases the effectiveness of your abilities and also I think how hard you hit the core. Also your character's Special is locked till you reach SPARK 2 where it becomes unlocked.
This game is poorly explained, provides no training or practice ground, and is filled with toxic players. No game should require you to watch every UA-cam video available to understand the basic mechanics.
There is a glossary in the upper left corner that explains most things, as well as being able to read things like character abilities in the strikers section under "overview" that also lays out terminology pretty clear. And most everything else that needs explanation has that little "i" next to it you just touch to read up on real quick. As another relative noob, pretty much the only thing I didn't understand yet before seeing this video was Spark lol. But I do agree having access to some training mode beyond the tutorial the very first time you boot up the game would definitely be a plus. The vs AI thing seems to be their answer to that but it still requires other ppl to play it. Just basically giving making that tutorial its own mode with some added features would've been enough imo.

@Agent Bacalhau didn't know that. I guess that makes sense, so it isn't one team getting everything.
All I know is that I'm usually last. Hahaha

i do too, i just got it today and I'm in love but comp matchmaking takes like 2-3 minutes which ig isn't bad but yk

I just finished playing a few matches and was mulling over the terms. This video showing up in my feed is mad coincidental!
I spent quite a bit of time looking for explanation of all these things, thank you for actually making a video explaining it all in better terms.
Thank you, I needed this lol
The one thing I don't get is cooldown rate on the spark of focus(I might have the name wrong. The glasses.) Is 10 a lot of cooldown? Is it a little? Do you have any insight on that?
Yeah I had a match I had a 7 second Rasmus ult CD and I have no clue if it was spark that was cooking
I already know all this but i wanted to stop by to support an omega strikers channel
energy is one of those things i have no idea how or when to use lol

Thanks for the video!
0:34 So, you specified allies and enemies. Does hitting the core not count as a "hit"?
Yes, the core counts as well
The core is everyone's enemy. Why do you think it keeps getting smacked around?
Why isn’t this game more popular? Shits to dam fun
OMFG THANKS. Subscribed
Thank you! This helped me a lot.
Godsend explainer
One thing you missed is certain items say they make you "hit harder" is this damage or knockback? Also what does power do? Damage, knockback, or both?
Ambos
Thank you!!! It's do weird that they don't explain it:D
1:55 Octavia joined the game
2:16 So does how hard you hit scale with size?
It scales with power, and size just makes your hit box bigger

it's funny when im still new to this game and I was like,
"What are sparks? how can I get them?.... ohhh... THE AWAKENINGSSS!!!" xd
Sooo now is Eras Ult a projectile or a creation????
great video
Here I thought SPARK was effected by the amount of energy meter you have, considering there's awakenings that build upon Stagger meter
I thought this for so long
finally i know what is spark

doesn't atlas's ult have rescued and rescuable as its own unique terminology too?
How is an mvp determined? Also if everyone is omega level, is it just the mvp then all random for draft?

what is the difference between takedown and ko?😭
Essentially, a takedown is when you assist in knocking someone out
I thought spark was burst meter bars... Because burst is sparkly
I think you missed Impact keyword. I understand the concept of that keyword but man the way it works for X is confusing.
Yes, we did miss impact. Impacts are any AOE abilities.
I thought Sparkles were the orange energy bars going blue when full... 🤦♂️
